I've enjoyed the short time (3 months so far) I've been here. Leasing staff is great, apartment (newly renovated) is nice and the property is well kept. Sure, it's expensive (what in Denver isn't nowadays) but it's a good value compared to other apartments around Denver. Maintenance staff is great as well. Brandon is so friendly and I appreciate the great job he does.

I was told about a month and a half before my lease ended that they were not renewing my lease because they needed to renovate my apartment, which was quite a shock to me. I could move to a different apartment within the complex but my rent would increase by at least $400 a month because of the new renovation. I decided to move because of this. Although they handled it the best they could at the time, I think we should have been told ahead of time about this. It would have been nice to know at start of lease that this might potentially happen in the future, as it may have affected my initial decision on leasing. It was a good place to live for a year but this whole situation was bad and, in my opinion, not fair, especially for those people that have lived in their apartment for years. Something to keep in mind when considering leasing at Cortland.

Extremely upset and disappointed in this apartment complex. Things were great the first 2 years. My family and I have lived in our unit almost 3 years and now they want to renovate our unit. Because of this, they are FORCING us to move out. I think this is completely unacceptable. I honestly don't understand how it's even legal really. They told us "if you want you can just move to another unit on the property"... But all the units are more expensive seing they keep raising the prices. And we don't want to HAVE to move anywhere at all. Not only the hassle of moving our stuff but changing my daughter's school and our address and everything is a pain just because they want to renovate. When we first moved in our rent was $1987 for a 2 bedroom... only 2 years later and they are charging $2700 for our unit. I wouldn't recommend living here for a long period of time.

I lived here for over four years and just recently moved out. I had a west facing apartment on the fourth floor of the western-most building. The view was magical and will always hold a special place in my heart. With only a few unavoidable exceptions, I never had an issues while living there. The staff, with special mention to Tatiana (because she was there both when we moved in and moved out!), were always helpful and cared about the community, which showed.

A breed restriction has nothing to do with having pet insurance. There are restricted breeds that are service animals.

How much is the rent?
