I decided to step outside my comfort zone (The Bar at 316) 10/2/21 and check this place out. I like to dance and meet new people - Club Argon promised just that. Very steampunk type décor - brightly lit. Spotlessly clean with lots of parking. My first trip to the bar was met with “put on your mask.” All other areas were ok to go uncovered btw, maybe due to the UV sterilizing unit that glowed overhead? I was early (10:45) and assumed the music would ramp up as the crowd swelled. Who doesn’t like Cyndi Lauper & Gloria Estefan music videos right? It never did. Someone please focus the video projector. True to Charlotte form, the crowd doubled around 11:45…yet it still seemed empty. Most were in tandem and not at all interested in socializing… outside their group that is. Charlotte gay nightlife is much different and welcoming elsewhere. Music is the pulse - patrons the heartbeat… in any venue

Great LGBTQ club actually took about 6 people with me and as promised they had a great time the tall bartender with the glasses awesome however the little skinny guy with the glasses and the attitude need to listen closely to the customer he completely screwed up our drinks and we ordered melon balls and got fooled...however the club was great and the parking was great and secure ...you can go party there and not worry ..

I came here two years ago before the country unfortunately shut down due to Covid-19 and my fiancé and I had a ball here. There was a guy there that was so friendly to my bae and I and made the hell out of those drinks for us. I forgot his name but I know he was brown skin with a bald head and wore his caps backwards but nevertheless he was a excellent bartender. The atmosphere was so chilled and laidback which I like without any drama. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Charlotte to visit to check this spot out. I promised you won’t be disappointed. My fiancé and I are moving to Charlotte from Newport News, VA in 2022 and this will be one of our main spots to go to😎
