Fantastic trip. Our captain Joe was awesome. You could tell he really cared about giving each guest a great experience. He was funny and entertaining and made the trip a lot of fun. We had lots of great whale viewing and being low on the water you could really hear the whale spouts and see the whales cresting the water better than on the higher up decks of the fishing boats. Boats were very comfortable and you could see to all sides from your seat which was great.

The best of the best whale watching you can go to! My wife and I have been three times already and Carrie and her crew are the most friendly and marine intelligent people I know! ALSO Captain Cuddles AKA Eric was the best sport and also a “whale whisperer” in my opinion!

June 5th was my excursion here with Carrie. I got to experience Orca whales. They basically took us and followed the Orcas to Newport. It was so much fun to watch Koda get excited as we did when we seen the whales come up. It was amazing. We went again July 25th with captain Joe. He made the ride fun and had is laughing, hooting and hollering. I couldn't stop laughing it was that much fun. We got to just go right out of the harbor to see 1 blue whale that showed us who he was. Way to cool! The price for me was super reasonable. I've paid more for less at resorts and didn't have the same experience. Both times I felt that they treat you like one of their own. They want you to have a great experience. They definitely have the best job ever and it shows!

My husband booked a private whale/birding tour with Carrie for our honeymoon and we had an absolute blast! While it wasn't a good day for whales, we did find a number of life birds. We also saw sea lions and newborn harbor seals. Carrie is incredibly knowledgable (I would have loved to have been one of her biology students when she taught!) and she and Koda made the whole tour so much fun. Thank you, Carrie!

Right now is awesome and this week is supposed to be beautiful. The are resident whales there at depoe bay. Lori is right, Carrie is person to contact but for smaller kids a larger boat might be better just in case get sick. Every time have been out, ha e seen whales with all of the excursions. I have been on a lot!
