Landmark Resort, Door County

I have somewhat mixed feelings about my rating for this resort. The place did exactly as promised by giving us a place to sleep and fix breakfast during our time in Door county, but it offered almost nothing else. The whole rental process was somewhat confusing. Were we renting from the resort or renting from individual condo owners? Was the unit we stayed at representative of all units or was ours less desirable that some others? There was nothing at all special about our unit. The upstairs bedroom unit was really short on furnishings, no chairs for dressing and hardly any place to put clothing except on the floor. This was the bedroom with the king size bed so it seemed to be the master bedroom, but the only bathroom was down a set of really steep squeaky stairs that we had to negotiate at night.There was a closet in the room that we used but there was also mention in the unit information kit that there was an owner's closet we weren't supposed to access so I don't know if we were supposed to use it or not. Pretty much the whole place was that way, everything seemed to be just made up on the fly. The outdoor pool was heated too much so it felt like swimming in a bathtub rather than a cool dip in a pool. This place did what we needed for our stay in Door county, but I wouldn't stay here again.

This is a family favorite. We've been coming here for years and the resort is super fun year-round. There are spectacular views of the bay, beautiful walking paths, hot tubs, pools (indoor and outdoor) a restaurant and it's close to town. The rooms are cozy and I like that they all come with a full kitchen. This will always be our favorite place in door county!

Great weekend away. Great front desk check in experience. Had small issue with the room but they were very quick to get it fixed. Loved being able to stay on the property by having the kitchen to cook in and enjoy our weekend scrapbooking and relaxing in the hot tub.

We went here for a weekend getaway and the resort was beautiful and the room was perfect. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and other things to do. I slept great in the bed and the entire place was super clean. I had one of the best weekends ever staying here and I definitely would recommend the Landmark anytime of the year. I wish I could live there year round.
