I purchased garlic from them last year and called and preordered garlic in June 2022. When I called to follow up with them yesterday, they said that they did not have any orders from me and now they are out of stock. Very disappointed!!!!

The seeds are always high quality. The packaging and website includes very informative planting guides.

I can't say enough about their customer service! I've ordered from them several times and they really take care of their customers. Their was an item I wanted to return and they sent FedEx to my house with a shipping label already printed to pick it up. I was able to call and speak with a real person that quickly helped me. Good luck getting that kind of service from Amazon.

Plant one- or two-year-old plants in early spring rather than fall. Rooted cuttings are less expensive but take two more years to produce. Blueberries prefer a location in full sun, with moist, acidic soil. Blueberries require an acid soil with a pH of 4.8. A pH of 5.0 or higher is too high! We highly recommend you have your soil tested and amended prior to planting blueberries. Contact your local Cooperative Extension office for information on how to test your soil. I hope this helps Karen.
If you haven't planted them already, bring them in. Next spring put them in the ground. Then they should withstand an outdoor winter.
Threshing, then winnowing is the standard procedure. There are lots of videos on YouTube that show how to winnow, especially for small gardeners, using fans, etc. Our copy says, "After winnowing, the grain is ready to cook for oatmeal or grind for oat flour. Remove any lingering hulls by floating them off in water, then air-drying the grain." As an FYI, our seed is intended for growing crops, not for human consumption. Our seeds have not been handled or stored as food products would be. Hopefully you grew a successful crop from our seed! Thank you.
Not usually depends on the seed however
If you prefer to direct seed, sow 6 weeks before the last frost, 2-3 seeds 6" apart, 1/4- 1/2" deep. Darkness is required for germination. Thin to 6" apart when true leaves appear. If you prefer to transplant, sow 4-6 weeks before planting out. Sow 2 seeds directly into each cell or 3-4" pot, 1/4- 1/2" deep. Keep soil surface moist until emergence. Thin to one plant when the true leaves appear. Transplant outside as soon as the soil can be worked. Seedlings won't be damaged by a late frost.
What zip is that
Just seeds here as far as ik best bet would be go to our website hope that helps
Yes! There is an international catalog. If you call, there is a Canadian sales team ready to help!
You didn't say what zone you are in but I will say you are fine. If your worried about cold weather or extreme cold weather I would make sure to mulch it very well and maybe use a row cover for extreme weather but once again we don't know your growing zone. I hope this helps.
Bulbs, seeds, and bareroot plants for things like strawberries no seedlings though. You'd have better luck at a green house

Hello Karine, Carrot seeds may have an organically certified film coating for the ease of sowing.
Please call the toll free number and you can ask the representative.
Malabar spinach can be harvested anytime throughout its growth; young leaves and stems are able to be eaten throughout the season. When the spinach flowers (generally after 3 months of growth), the leaves will become bitter, so it is generally best to harvest before flowering. You can also pinch any flower buds to extend the growing season.

In an established asparagus bed, you can fertilize in the fall or early spring. If you are planting new crowns, fertilizer or compost should be applied to the beds prior to planting.
If you are interested in a sweet onion, I would recommend the Walla Walla onion. This variety can either be purchased as plants or as seeds. Our onion plants can be ordered as early as December, and we ship to zone 5 in early April. If you plant onion seeds, they should be started indoors 8-10 weeks before transplanting. You can start the seeds between mid-February and early March, and the plants can be set out during the last week of April, weather permitting. Onions can survive a mild, but not a hard, frost, so only set the plants out if there is no hard frost expected (28°F or lower).
Yes, available at the retail store in Winslow. You may also call the contact center and they can send it out for you.
Have you looked in the Johnny's catalog. If we have it it'll show in there I will ask around work today
German Winter Thyme is perennial in zones 5-8. If it is planted in the ground, it can be left there during the winter. You can add mulch to the beds which will add protection if the winter is particularly harsh. If your thyme is planted in a container, it will not be kept as well protected as it would be in the ground. You can either bring the container indoors or transplant it into the ground. Sweet Marjoram is a tender perennial, and it will not survive a Maine winter. This should be brought indoors and kept in a sunny location.
Personalky, I think use both. If you are considering the northern latitude, frost must be considered. Some crops can only be efficiently grown in the southern zones: melons, sweet potatoes, etc.
Birds can be kept off your grapes with bird netting. You can also use scare tactics, such as flash tape or terror eyes. Raccoons can be kept out with a fence. Sometimes an electric fence is needed to keep raccoons out; there should be one wire 4-6 inches above the ground and a second at 12 inches.
When the Sunshine squash is ready to harvest, the stem will begin to dry and the skin will harden. When you press your fingernail into the skin of a ripe squash, it should not leave a mark.
Underground pests usually aren’t interested in eating pelleted seeds. The clay coatings aren’t appetizing to animals.
If you cannot plant immediately, store in a cool, dry, and dark place with good ventilation – moisture and heat may cause the bulbs to sprout prematurely. The bulbs are hardy and will thrive when planted if cared for properly.
Peppers are actually fruits of flowering plants from the nightshade family. They are part of a small group of fruits that appear to be vegetables. Tomatoes are another example.
