I purchased a pound of your quick bloom wildflower seeds approximately a year ago. I am impressed by the variety of blooms I get every couple of weeks. Everyone that views them remarks on their beauty. I must add that these remarks are coming from someone who swore he never purchase anything from your company ever again. This after a purchase I made many years ago was a complete disaster. This time u have out done yourself. I am most impressed and recommend u to many others.

I have been blown away by the extraordinary amount of blooms that have emerged and keep on emerging. Every two weeks some new flower appears adding volume and color. It’s so much fun to watch. I did everything that the instructions told me to do. People come over and marvel and then tell me stories of their disappointment with their own experience from some other company. Thank you wildflower seed company. This has been one of the best experiences.

I ordered spring plants during a sale on feb 10th. Plants were shipped to Ohio and never left the facility there. At least that’s what I’m told. It’s now middle May and I’m waiting for my refund. Guess no plants for me. I’m officially done with this company. I’ll buy from competitors from now on. I suggest you do the same since you’re surfing reviews.

I ordered a Holy Grail hibiscus online from here and although there was a delay in shipping because of weather, Ann, at Vermont Wildflower farms, answered every email in a timely manner every time I had questions about my order. I was afraid the plant would not reach my area before the time was up for Spring planting, but it seems the item will make it here just in time. I will post pictures and update my review on if the plant survives. Update: It's now July 21st, 2019 and I've attached a photo of one of the first blooms of the year.

Questions & Answers

Is the farm and store now open to the public. Will be visiting VT in mid October. Do you still have your trail open and are you pet friendly.

Hi Karen - We sold our old farm in 2017. We were in the process of new facilities/land but that has been on hold since the pandemic started. We are not open to the public at this time. We are sorry we will miss you but check back with us next season if you are in the area again! We are strictly online at the moment.

You sent me a packet of Harebell seeds. Can you tell me the species of Campanula?

Barry Wicklow | Aug 30, 2021
Vermont Wildflower Farm | Aug 30, 2021

Hi Barry - It is HAREBELL - Campanula rotundifolia (Seeds per Packet: 1,000+). This is noted on the product page you ordered from. If you have any questions, let us know. Happy Spring and thank you for your order. We appreciate it!

Can we visit this fall...?

Hi Carol - Thank you for thinking of us. We are not open to the public during these times. We are available to order online, consult by e-mail and limited phone. We are sorry we will miss you this season! Have a wonderful time in Vermont :)

Do you take out of town orders for bouquets to be delivered to a Hinesburg, VT address? If not, is there a florist nearby you can recommend? Thank you!

Vermont Wildflower Farm | Aug 31, 2019

Hi Bonnie - Thank you for your inquiry. We do not sell ready made bouquets, just seed, plants, bulbs etc. You could try In Full Bloom in Shelburne VT. Here is the link to their website: http://www.infullbloomvt.com/index.htm or you could try the Crimson Poppy in Richmond VT. Here is the link to their website: https://www.crimsonpoppyvt.com/ - We do not have direct experience with either company, however, we have heard nice compliments from our own customers on both. We hope this helps. Best regards, Mary

I'm looking for the type of red clover seed I can make tea from the flowers. Or doesn't it matter......can I use any of them ?

Wayne Parry | Aug 31, 2019
Vermont Wildflower Farm | Aug 31, 2019

We would suggest Trifolium pretense. There is a lot of information found on the internet on how to use it and also how to make tea from it. We do sell it. Here is the link: https://www.vermontwildflowerfarm.com/medium-red-clover.html
