We waited over two hours for a tow truck. When a AAA service vehicle arrived, it was not a tow truck, and that's all we needed. He came out and tested my battery and my alternator because those seemed to be the problem together. My alternator was missing the belt when he checked it(I didn't know that at the time), so he lied about being able to see the output because there is no way he could check it without the belt that fell off while driving. He also couldn't accurately check the battery without being able to check the alternator. He said I needed to replace both my alternator and my battery, which would cost over $1,000. When he called for the tow truck and left, we had to wait for the tow truck to arrive, having to wait again. When the tow truck arrived, we had him tow it to the place I wanted to go. When the shop opened the next day, they looked at my car and said that AAA lied about being able to check the alternator because I didn't know that I didn't have my belt off at that time. They said that it is impossible to check it without the belt. All I needed was a new belt and a new battery. I did not need an alternator like the technician from AAA said. I'm very unhappy with my service with having to wait over 2 hours for assistance and being lied to about having my car checked. When I called AAA for assistance, they said the technician would arrive 35 minutes after that call ended. That was obviously not the case. I didn't need someone to come out and tell me that my car is undrivable because I quickly found that out myself. The service that the technician provided was overall useless and a waste of time. He also called us when he was supposedly 15 minutes away, but didn't end up showing until 35 minutes after. Terrible service. Wouldn't not recommend.

Went in after purchasing a new car and needing a new policy . Quinn was such a great help & explained my policy to me and broke it all down for me . Extremely happy and satisfied with my visit all thanks to Quinn .

Super friendly reps which keep everything moving efficiently forward without long lines and wait times. Even with the pandemic you are able to get in and out quickly. AAA reps NEVER make any mistakes either. Just a good business. We LOVE AAA!!! 💖

Yes, updated! Credit. But not debit cards are taken now
No appointment needed... We do vin chks several times a week
Yes, as renewal and related benefits are part of your membership arrangement.
Are. The DMV open on Sat at the AAA?
I thinl so
Cash or check only
Post office is your best bet
Walk in
You do not need an appointment for any DMV transactions.
Your AAA customer service is available to answer that specifically for you.
I am sure they give you up to 72 hours in California to add the car to your policy. If you do it tomorrow, you will be fine.
not sure! check on line see if they have prices for services
Ask for c u got registration?I have never had any questions about their service!
Yes as they can look you up on there computer
They will print proof at any local office
Not really sure.
Cash , check or credit card are acepted. No debit card
No
Yes
No not yet, they did allow it previously but after a few days they had to stop the process. Now they are sending customers back to DMV for the Real ID at this time. They don't know when they will allow it for now.
Not sure of price, but they do most DMV services. Don't forget the DMV kiosk is available 👍
Yes but only till like 2 I believe
Most inspection of any kind require appointment
If you have a blue disability placar there already started to be issued from the DMV in Sacramento If you have a red one that's temporary your doctor needs to fill out There Good For Two Years l Received Mine 2 Weeks Ago It Will Be Mailed To The Address The DMV Has......
No
Only if you have a pink slip
You won't need to make an appointment I was like the eighth person in line and was in there in 10 minutes
I believe you can do it if you have the owner's name and the VIN And also be a member of AAA
I think Everyone's case is a bit different. But i think u can they r very helpful im sure they will
No, I've heard the AAA cannot do driver license renewal. That probably extends to ID cards also
Ditto on John and Chris's comments. When I went there on a weekday afternoon there was no line for DMV service.
Nope. Just remember that they only take cash or check for all DMV transactions.
They should be able to take care of this. Just keep in mind that all DMV services are cash or check only. They do not take credit or debit cards for any DMV services.
I would make one, not sure, better if appointment is made
Not sure exactly but you can do most anything DMV-related at AAA except drivers licenses
Yes
Hi Sharon. Unfortunately no you have to be a AAA member to get all of the services that they offer. Also for the kind of transaction that you have to do you will have to go to a D.M.V. to take care of your cars transfer and plates. I recommend highly that you contact D.M.V. first and let them know what your problem is and how can you take care of the matter without hassle and being safe. Hope this helps you ,good luck and take care...(DAVID).🙏
No but its smart to know what ya need before you get there.
No
On line it says the store is open but times vary, I'm thinking they are open but close early
I have no experience with the student discount sorry.
At most
I think you still would be able to pay for it. But if you have paper work from years prior YOU WILL BE ABLE TO, because I did it that way 😉
That's for a year. If you ever needed a jump start, locked out of your car, or needed a tow that membership is worth it's weight in gold. I give it to my kids for Christmas and it's more than paid for it's self.
The fee is prorated to add a person to your membership
A
Yes they do...
They can look up the information, and let you know how much to pay. If this is your smog year, make certain that is complete and that your insurance is current. Naturally, you will want to bring your State ID or Driver License. Above all, be prepared to pay for your DMV service with cash, or a check. They only accept cards for actual AAA transactions, not for DMV transactions.
If you don't want to wait in line too long, it would be best
As far as I know you do not need to be a member of AAA to get one.
Nope
No but you can register your car or pay registration fees. They have you the tags on the spot.
No.,,,just walk in,,have ID,,,,membership card,,,,and paperwork ready,,,wait time,, 20minutes or less,,
Yes. And you can request the form to get filled out by her school- for a student discount to be applied as well.
Not sure about that one,,may depend upon your circumstances.,you may want to call the 1-800number before driving there...
You can always go in and ask, but you might have to take it up with the DMV.
I agree with Keith. If you're current, DMV charges $15, I believe, for a replacement. I believe AAA would charge the same as the DMV. Do take cash or check. They do not take ATM for DMV transactions.
They only provide vehicle services. You have to go to DMV for ID/license services
I'm not sure if you can
Not sure. Call them and ask
YES AND IT DEPENDS ALL ON THE PACKAGE U SIGN UP FOR.
10 am to 2 pm. It gets very busy on Saturday. I recommend you grab a coffee and a breakfast burrito and get to AAA around 9:15. There may already be a few people starting the line. You can wait there until it opens while enjoying your breakfast. It will sabe you time compared to going once it's already open.
NO
DMV only , get a bill of sale
Walk in only but as long as they are not already expired, the line goes really fast. If not there's a wait. Go as soon as they open, cuz it's faster.
Yes as long as you are on the registration.
DMV website has tool to figure out those costs.
AAA does so title transfer
No, cash or check only. It gets forwarded to the DMV as is and a credit card payment cannot be forwarded.
Yes, and they do so much more than vehicle insurance they do travel property insurance and notaries all kinds of stuff and there open on Saturday's! I just went today so much better than any other insurance company! I love them
No only DMV can furnish that kind if information for security reasons
Yes i was able to register my car as non op in their DMV Dept
U have to be reg. Owner of car. AAA is a good membership to have as well as inexpensive. Also saves alot of standing in line time that u may have to do at DMV... 😊
Thought you knew? AAA IS THE NEW D.M.V. JUST GO THERE YOU'LL SEE.
They're usually open from 10am-2pm, but they might be close due to the holiday. You should call before you go over there.
Yes, they do. But cash only.
I believe you can renew there.
