Nice clean , pretty empty because of covid. It can be frustrating at times. I recommend that you make copies of all your paperwork for yourself and have them stapled together and ask to have your copy date stamped as proof because they tend to lose stuff and say that you did not turn it in. Or send the originals certified return receipt with the tracking number written on the original and your copy.

Very friendly workers and very fast and knowledgeable service, even the security guard was very nice and professional, I forgot about the mask mandate and they provided me with one. It was nice to go to a county ran building where people actually made me feel welcome and not like I'm just trying to get a hand out, even though I kind of am lol.

Been on list 22 yrs, never called, I have updated and everything. If you find something let me know. Wairing lists have lists at affordable apts which rund $800-$1000 or more. I don't make that much to be approved anyways.
If there’s any help, I am renting in Ruberside at these apartments called Victoria hieghts they go by income, there’s a lot of senors and single parents which don’t pay much, some pay $55 a month even higher but all utilities, I mean all utilities are included.
Are you talking about project housing ? Yes you can but even with that program there's nothing available because no affordable housing has been built in Riverside county, and pretty much all of California for over 2 decades , the project housing that's built right now in Riverside is over 20 years old , probally got built before the 1990s smh , more people need housing than what's available and what being built,
Yes, being disabled put you in a higher tier, which puts you close to the top. Ssi will not make you above porverty limits! It is a disability insurance for the poor, so you have to be poor to recieve it. 😊
Yes
You can try applying in Riverside, there’s these apartment called Victoria Hieghts and they go by income, people here pay rent like $55 and it can go higher all depends what you make and all Utilities are paid. Try them out they have apartments available and if you do decide to come and apply they will tell you that it takes 2 to 3 years for them to call you but don’t get Discourage They have to tell you that but it can last a couple a months.
Apartment complexes usually charge you a higher deposit if you have bad credit.
Try to fill out application for housing
My husband and I are homeless. I make $800 a month on SSDI.. my husband is still fighting for his. I'm living in Winchester And my husband is living in Murrieta. I need a place for the both of us. Rent and utilities can't come over $650 a month.
This is not the actual office...This is a public form...people answering questions to help other people. But, I'm sure if they do...there probably is a wait list. But not everyone's circumstance is the same. If you go on their website that may answer your question.
Go online. You can apply for tour county and make sure to have all paperwork
No, they won't double up on a month. But do you have your new voucher already or sent in your intent to vacate to you landlord and hud? They jave like 30-60 days from the letter to vacate to issue the new voucher
You can always call the city recorders office they have the deed on file but might just give you a trust name or bussiness name
Try Apartmentguide.com...or Apartments.com add your search criteria (city etc) make sure you indicate "senior" apartments as part of your search criteria. Good luck!
No they dont give out motel vouchers unless you have kids
I believe there are special programs at the houseing office for people who are infected. Call your local hud office. I wish you the best.
There shouldn't be a waitlist, a few weeks max you should be able to get in , but since no affordable housing has been built like that , your looking at about 12-20 years , they say it's 6 years but I been on the wait list for 8 years and have had no luck ,
Do you live in Riverside County? If you Only work there, then no. The Housing Authority must follow the same rules in order to get the funding. Surely they want to help you, but they can not. I hoped this answered your question.
Make a list of the issues in question and take pictures. Advise site manager of issues or contact the property management company where you live. Send them a copy of your list and picture(s). If still no luck contact fair housing.
Depends. If he/she is the landlord for a Playboy Bunny Ranch...yes. if your talking about a residential property...no.. take pictures...call the police if there are children present...document what's going on... contact Housing Authority.to ask about your tenant rights...and start looking for someplace else to live.
Yes. It's located outside yhe front sliding door
No.
Did you call them and address your questions directly to housing authority???
Housing Authority Office is Open... You are now able to walk in the office drop off paperwork etc.... I was there last week.
I'm not sure about that, I'm sorry
As of right now I've been told that there is a hold on evictions. I'm not sure if that helps. YOUR BEST BET is to go to the housing authority agency during businesss hours and ask them for alternatives. If they are closed to the public ring the delivery button and explain to them that you need help and your circumstances. If by chance you were in the military or had a spouse who was there is also habitat for humanity.
I would go to the office
Don't have an answer. But I do have a question. How is it that you're a tribal member, and getting our government funds? We can't get tribal funds. How is that fare?
I have no idea google it and I'm sorry about your loss =/
I don't know 😕
Online applications
Etimesheets.com. you need your username and password
I don't know. Sorry I can't be of help call your local HUD office. I'm sure someone there all help. I'll put you in my prayers take care.Ve sure to stay dehydrated coconut water helps alot and put a cool rag on your head😄
You would have to Port out of your current county
I mean wrong person
Go to office
Call housing and do you have renters insurance
They have to give u 90 days..
You will never get them back always make copies of them .
Ur jus asking the public ma'am. One thing i can say is the list is open but its like a 8 year waiting list. I dnt call offen but when I do, the receptionist is awesome so ask her she may be able to better assist you.
Vicki apply for all programs be sure to indicate your disabled
Who is this? How do u know my husband?
If you have the voucher already, with your worker. If you are on a waitlist through the apt complex directly for most, but if you applied online then use the websites update form to make address, phone, family size/income changes. It usually take 4-6 weeks to be processed at hud.
U can always port out.
Go online and put urself on the list its a 8 yr waiting list
Building regulations are administered by county of riverside transportation land management planning department
This is not the Housing Authority. This is a public format where the public helps answer Housing Authority questions. It's best to go onto their website or call 411 to get that type of information.
Look up housing standards and it will give u the amount of the different vouchers
This isn't the office this is jus public answering, but call up there and the receptionist will guide you in the rt directions they are very informative.
It may feel like discrimination but I'm sure it's not. From just reading some of these questions/answers about housing or applying in this County is tough. But your statement is a whole other conversation. The County appears to be overloaded with not enough resources for us. There is no cap on rent which has forced many on to the streets. Stay positive, keep praying something will come through for you.
You can't, it's not a number list. If you are a senior, disabled, vet, homeless, or extremely under poverty level you get priority. But the waitlist is 8-10 years if you have any of the above listed. If not, it's even longer.
This is a public form...not the Housing Authority. Best to contact them and ask how to proceed.
Are you asking for guidance? Or just making a comment? Are you documenting the harassment? have you spoken to the landlord? Discrimination of any kind should not be tolerated especially coming from a Landlord. Document and advice Fair Housing...you also might want to consider seeking legal assistance.
The word "Landlord" has been inflated terribly giving these knuckle head apartment management the green light to treat everyone unfair. It's important that you read and understand your "Tenant Rights" if you are in a lease agreement your landlord can't change your rent anytime he/she feels like it. But, It is possible if you're lease has ended and your're renewing your lease agreement. If the market value in your area has changed so will your new lease terms. Again, read your lease agreement carefully some of the wording is not meant for us to understand. All that legal mumble-jumble will give anybody a headache. Seek legal assistance, there's an office in Riverside. They can help answer your questions. Good luck!
You go online and I believe there is a way to update it. I haven't done it or been able to see it so I cant explain it. Sorry. You can the main number and see if they are able to walk you through it. I'm a property manager not located at the main office. Thanks.
I hope at the time of this writing you've gone to the Housing Authority office. If you haven't run down there and let them know you've been approved and need help on how to proceed. Good luck to you!
Thank you, Thoughtful daughter taking care of your mom. God bless
You should talk to the Housing Authority direct. This is just a public Q&A page. People helping people. Good luck!
I was in the office the other day and over heard wait was about 7 years plus
Let's hope your a good one and you will treat us fair and with dignity. I'm sure there is a portal or directory on their web page/main website.
Is this your opinion or fact? I don't know the women and I would hope that she was put in that position because she is qualified to do the job. How do we know anyone is on Meth? Are we testing them? Are you? If something is not right, ask to speak to her supervisor or write to the department and file a compliant but, blantantly accusing her or anyone in that office without legitimate proof is careless. Go through the proper channels to get proper resolutions.
Yes
I don't know call and talk to someone at section 8
Yes you would have to apply for section 8 home ownership assistance, but the income limits are so low , there actually lower than project based housing , witch makes no sense at all since there the same thing your getting rent assistance regardless , anyways , the reason why your lot rent keeps getting higher is because Riverside county is in a housing shortage, when you don't have enough housing being built, rents go up , home prices go up , and land prices go up , as well as more traffic , unfortunately thanks to the housing shortage we have your lot rent goes up , lot rent falls under land prices smh, I feel very sorry for you, since developers don't wanna build enough housing , hopefully the state and federal government create a program to hire random workers to be trained to build affordable housing and homes , kind of like we already have programs for retirement and medical insurance, but we need a government program to build affordable housing and homes ,
I'm very sorry for your situation, the only thing you can do is move to another area , most likely out of California, because this whole state especially Riverside county is in a affordable housing crisis, not enough housing being built, I encourage you to contact your local politicians and ask them to create a program to hire Random People Tha don't have experience and train them to build homes since developers can't build enough of it , the government should step in and hire random workers =]
Yesyes
Those are easier to get rid of than roaches , just get a tomcat poison trap and they'll eat it
How the heck are you getting 1850 a month from ssi? Are you sure it's not social security benifits? Ssi is a grant payment that doesnt reflict your work history.
Got on the section 8 to check their website
Ask for another person for know
Go to the public records and ask them
Call 211
