The tranquility of this place helps you relax. $7 per car is really worth visiting this place with clean restrooms, playgrounds, barbecue places, and a scenic view of LA. You can plan a picnic and spend a day in this park.

Beautiful park within the city. Wildlife preserved, walking trails, clean restrooms, nice lake to fish, picnic areas and beautiful scenery, ducks, birds fish, you name it. This park also offers themed areas to represent different cultural outdoor experiences. You'll enjoy your visit and look forward to seeing what else you can discover in the park.

You have to pay $7 to enter on the weekend, which isn’t too much, but if you want to enjoy the outdoors with family or your pets, there are plenty of other nice parks with no entrance fee. Apart from that, once you enter there is plenty of parking and a lot of space to settle down whether you want a private table or just a spot on the grass. There are gorgeous views of downtown and west LA, which is my favorite thing about this park. I see people come here for picnics, birthday parties, biking, and running.

If you want to feel nature close to you there's a place in LA where you can go and feeling this way ✨.
There's a homing bird garden where all the birds can drink water and get some food.
There's a beautiful view and everything is free. A good place to work out and breath . You can let it go all your worries 😟 and be calm again.
Yes they do have grills on level where you fist drive in then on very top of park with great view of downtown- they also have large sink area on top level which is handy when barbequing
Yes, the park is open on Holidays.
Park Hours: Sunrise to Sunset.
Entrance vehicle fees on Holidays and weekends:
$6.00 for vehicles
$10.00 for limousines
$12.00 for buses
Yes. There is a limit to how many you can take with you. And I've never seen someone catch anything. But to answer your question, yes you can fish there.
There's no rule against it, if that's what you mean.
In terms of physical space I'm going to say no. I've been all over the place and the only wide open area is not flat ground and has lots of trees. I mean yes you could play softball with your kids or something but not a real baseball game.
Where can I lock up the bike? On the flat ground parking lot or on the seconary level where the basketball courts and playground is?
And at the very very top, is there a place to lock up the bike?
Can you prepay parking for guests of a birthday party?

Hi.!
what you have to do is to talk to the city parking enforcement if you want to book a event in a public park, they can schedule personal and save parking area for your guests. Of course you will have to pay a fee for this.. in other hand you can go early morning and save spots with your family and friends but it will be kind of challenge with other visitors to the park.. good luck ✌
You have to pay to drive in at the weekends. Currently $6 for cars more for bigger vehicles. Entrance for cars is off lacieniga. There is no fee to walk into the park from any entrance. Weekdays are free for all vehicles. Also you need cash. Park entrance fee cannot be paid with a debit or credit card
The park is not free ... admission is 6.00 and you can park in any area, as long as it is not restricted ... in the week after five in the afternoon you enter for free. On Saturdays and Sundays you pay a little more.
Hi. The Forest Trail and City View Trail apparently form a big loop that begins next to the Japanese Garden,,,,, and contains many offshoot splinter trails. Questions,,,, are the offshoots markered? Is the main loop completely markered? Thank you.

Not really I usually go up the hill from the Japanese garden till I reach the top and then there's the boy scout trail and bronze trail up there
I would say either the first parking area that you encounter coming in the entrance off la cienega or the parking area at the top of the hill, depending on which trails do you want hike.
Its better with a reservation as without anyone can come into your space and you have no control. Also you may not get the area you want to use if someone else reserves it or gets there prior to your arrival. Goid luck.
Its never closed, unless the weather conditions have made it unsafe, do to mud slides lately, but once the weather improves and the maintenance to the recreation areas and trails are done, the fun will continues.
Yes, tons of them. You can choose your level of difficulty although that really isn't anything I'd consider extreme or difficult but the level of effort changes with the path you choose to a degree. This helps to keep it interesting in my book.
Yes. If you want to use a pavilion (covered, designated tables), call and reserve in advance. It's about $86. A few uncovered tables or bringing your own tables are first come first served. You'll also get a pamphlet of rules, like no alcohol, no taping things to the ceilings/walls, no loud music, etc.
