Brian,Ben and Leif are running such a mind boggling scam....)sorry i digress!! Go try Julie and Auturm to work for u at Hertz Corvallis @Bob I dont think u will be sorry!@

HERTZ IS LITERALLY THE WORST. I was on the phone for 2 hours on the emergency line stranded in a state I did not know of and I cannot get a hold of anyone to get a refund. I will never rent through them they are horrible. I will be telling all of my friends, family, professional colleagues to never rent through them ever again! Save your time, energy, and sanity!

Horrible service. Would not take a deposit from my Chime credit card, which is absolutely 100% a legit credit card. Totally profiled me and ran my credit even though I tried to use my CREDIT CARD. Then tells me my prepayment for my rental won’t be back in my account for 7-10 days, making it near impossible for me to book another car. Ruined my entire holiday week. Looked at the literature on the Hertz website, this lady could have rented me the car but chose not to. Lanky white lady with glasses. DO NOT PATRONIZE HERTZ.

First I was suppose to get a Nissan Pathfinder or similar and they tried to give me a Kia Sorrento which is much smaller. We were moving my daughter and needed he space. So I upgraded to a van which worked well. However I tried to extend my rental and was told I could not do that. So I turned it in. It was a holiday weekend in a small town and the facility was already closed. There were no envelopes to fill out as directed so I dropped the keys. Then they proceeded to charge me $73/day since they were not open to cancel the contract. I will get throw money back but the point is I asked to keep it and was told I could not. But they charged me as if I did. so I was without a car but still charged and would have happily paid that daily fee. My plan was to trade in for a smaller car so today I am picking up a smaller car from Avis. Never again Hertz you left me stranded. Should have been listed the return time did not work with he actual hours of the return office. Then when inquired you keep van should have been offered the $73/ day rate

You should check with hertz. Sometimes the pricing is different if pickup and drop off are different.
Hertz does have the one way option buy it could be very expensive, make sure you know whatbteh fees are before you renr the car
