After a brief visit to discuss the feasibility of building a home on a terraced lot I quickly understood why the price of the property was falling and had no buyers. The engineering and foundation costs would have doubled the cost of construction. Tanner was kind enough to answer all my questions after I arrived in town and had a chance to see the lay of the land and the challenges involved. We have decided to not build at this time and have purchased a house in the area that is move in ready but found the staff honest and very helpful in coming to our decision. We will certainly call G Christianson Construction in the future when upgrades are needed.

We here at Emerson Metalworks and Fabrication love working with G. Christianson construction in Corvallis, OR. It's always a pleasure to follow behind their work crews and to help support the vision of the homeowners, designers and management of this well run local business. Their quality, attention to detail and integrity is definitely a team I am happy to support and work with. We followed up on a recent project by adding custom fit handrails to the new composite deck and guardrail installed by their crew this past month. The fit and finish looks great and all of the work should last a very long time for this great looking home.

We have used G. Christianson for 2 major home remodeling projects since 2015 (bathroom and kitchen). Our most recent project involved transforming a small 1930s galley kitchen to an expansive, open floorpan dining/kitchen combo/living. The major qualities that distinguish G. Christianson are: professionalism. You will work with credentialed, well-trained, and highly ethical and professional employees. From the team members who do demolition to the design team to the billing reps, you will encounter a high-level of professional demeanor. 2. Communication: Team members and team leaders are highly communicative and responsive. There are no surprise visits. The team uses a scheduling software to organize the work and they notify the homeowner in the event of changes. Importantly, team leaders know how frustrating it can seem to the homeowner to have long periods without work (this is just a natural part of contract/sub-contract model). There is clear communication about how your projects will unfold so all parties are clear what the roles and expectations will be. 3. Meticulousness. They will not call the job "done" until you are 100% satisfied. Even small deficiencies or issues will be picked up and quickly fixed. Every member of the team upholds this high standard. They have somehow managed to contract tile installers, plumbers, electricians, painters who share their value of meticulous attention to detail. 4. Reliable and Relatable. These are also fantastic people. They listen to your needs and help you achieve your vision. Their work speaks for itself, but it can be hard to feel good about a remodel if the construction team is hard to work with or unreliable. You will find that G. Christianson is a family-oriented business. They are involved in the community and have a long-standing relationship with businesses and non-profits in the area. The team members who entered our home were respectful (followed masking policy) and fun to work with. 5. Innovative and Imaginative. They will dare to dream your vision along with you. They look for novel ways to solve problems in design and construction (and carpentry!). They have a really well-informed and inspired design philosophy (also use great software to provide visuals of your design). If you have an aesthetic that is meaningful to you or a commitment to low-carbon products or functionality, they will respect your wishes and make it happen. Essentially, they like a challenge and will dare to imagine with you! We cannot recommend this company enough. We recommend them all our neighbors and friends.

G. Christianson Construction did a wonderful job on our kitchen and front entry remodel. Project superintendent Tanner was excellent at his job of coordinating the project and was very communicative with us throughout the project. Designer Anna was fantastic in her design work, bringing forward many wonderful ideas and would check in on our project as it progressed. Anna was a treat to work with. Lead carpenter Nate was very skilled at his work, always communicating with us on what to expect, listened to any concerns we had and was very courtesy. The cabinet shop did a stellar job of construction and installation of the cabinets. Cabinet shop manager Ron participated in a number of pre-construction meetings with designer Anna, collaboratively working together to build the kitchen of our dreams. The quality and design of the cabinets exceeded our expectations! Cabinet installers Dennis and Eric where highly skilled and made sure the installation was perfect! We are very pleased with our new kitchen and front entry. Working with G. Christianson Construction was a pleasurable experience based on the professional and knowledgeable staff. We highly recommend them for your project and would not hesitate to use them again on our future remodeling projects!
