The hotel is predictable. Not a bad thing, just exactly what you expect from a Courtyard. Location is great with lots to do in walking distance. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars from me is the check in experience. I’m lifetime platinum elite with Marriott. Not only did the guy checking me in not mention anything, he didn’t offer me a welcome gift as I’m become accustomed to expecting. And who knows if an upgrade was available, but I surely wasn’t offered one. I usually stay at the Marriott across the street and figured I’d save a few bucks on this trip. Guess as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

I had a bad experience while I am platinum elite member and always think several times before I post anythig negative about any place I visit since I give the benefit of the doubt but not during my trip in Buffalo. I checked in and the lady working at the front desk was not friendly at all, so I thought she had a bad or Ling day. I entered my room and it was very hot, and reported thst twice but there was no maintenance on site and ot looms like there was only the lady at the front desk running everything. She told me that she come up and check the room when there will be someone at the desk. It took her about 2 hours or more to come and check it then was moved to another room around 10 pm. I checked in between 630 and 7 pm. I understand that people have bad days but also we need to understand hotels welcome people from all over the place including long flights. I hope people here are more friendly moving forward but I don't think I will consider staying here in the future. Clean room and nice but no gel showers in the shower. I believe a brand like this can do better. Thanks

Overpriced and doesn't deserve to be a Marriott Chain. Booking shows King bed but Queen bed in the room. Room didn't have basic amenities like shower gel, laundary bag. When requested for dental kit, had to wait 2hours. They don't even keep bathroom sleepers. No concierge to advise travellers. No noise cancellation rooms, probably no padding between room walls. We couldn’t sleep because we could hear next room people chatting whole night.

The room was clean and nice but it never got warm. The staff was not very attentive. The Starbucks had a very limited menu and a long wait. Second day they were out of creamer. The gym was small but adequate. The hot tub was closed for repairs.
