When we arrived we noticed that the floors were cleaned, there were foot prints on the tiles, there was hair on the floor as in the tub, there was a dirty towel hanging on the door. I called the front desk and told them about it, they said they would send someone to clean the room and that never happened. I don't like writing bad reviews and had the room been cleaned for us at some point then I probably would have left a decent review.

Positive: The location was convenient for my brother who stayed at the hotel and is familiar with the South Buffalo area. The Econo Lodge is near a bus stop, as well as walking distance to stores and restaurants. Negative: It was difficult for my brother to check into the Econo Lodge South Buffalo since he does not have the photo ID credentials that were acceptable to the hotel. My brother has a disability and is on Social Security. He told me that he did not feel welcomed.

Toliet backed up and would not flush, shower backed up also. Stood in water to my ankles. AC very loud. Motorcycle rally in parking lot next to motel. 300+ cycles reving engines until 10pm. Just not a relaxing experience.

I have seen online poor reviews for this hotel and I wonder what planet they came from. I have stayed here many times and it's always been reasonably clean with everything working and no major issues. It's a two star hotel, not a fancy top line chain, but it serves it's purpose and is priced reasonably. The location is also convenient to too many shopping and food options to list.
