We went to see the Christmas lights at the city hall park to walk around. It was nice but watch out for skateboarders they don't move out of your way. ππ€

This review is for the City Hall itself, its staff, and the beautiful property it sits on- not for the services rendered by city officials (always subject to change.) The structure which holds the city's offices is my favorite piece of architecture in Escondido. I love the way it is designed, so city residents can come to the Grape Day Park, enjoy the paths and the fountain, look up at the huge glass structure and literally watch the gears of your city turn. I find the whole process, combined with the building, fascinating and beautiful. More modern, colored lighting around the fountain would be very useful, as it gets very dark in the area- so much so that I think it steers people away, for both aesthetics and safety.

I completely understand the (hours) wait time with COVID regulations being placed but not only was the lady in the business Permit desk rude to me but multiple people before me. Waste of my time. I suggest placing someone else up there that way the whole department doesnβt get a bad name.

Big shout out to Michelle Hunt. When it comes to the city's phone and technical systems, she is the most tenacious city employee I have ever worked with and deserves a metal for those long hours making sure the job gets done right! Thanks to the City of Escondido for looking after us residents pretty well too.

I called the school. They told me it was the city of Escondido that was in charge of the crossing guards.

You'll need to ask your question on Google. This place is for asking questions about Escondido city hall.
Holidays basically. They don't update hours on Google for special events, hence hours may differ.
