The first time I shopped at this store there was a man and a younger girl who were very nice. But, this one star review goes to whoever was closing today 08/08/21 I went to pay with cash and the machine wasn’t working for the cashier who seemed new. She didn’t want to wait and try to let the machine work. She quickly put my bill in it 10 times without patience and didn’t not listen to the manager or lead closer I’m assuming about trying to do it slowly and straightening the bill out. She told me to pay another way rudely and the lead closer or manager agreed. This alone is pretty bad that these two could not figure out how to use a machine to check bills and did not even attempt to try and fix the problem or do it manually. This was such bad customer service and luckily I did have a debit card. They seemed like they just didn’t want to do their job at all! If I didn’t have a debit card on me I would of been walking out with nothing because they chose not to let me pay with cash because the cashier did not know how to use the machine or even do her job! Horrible and his experience alone made me rather go to Joann’s fabrics instead of this michaels. Such a bummer! These people need to be trained better so customers can normally pay for what they are buying! I could not believe they just expected me to pay some other way because she didn’t not know how to use a machine!
