I was asked to be part of a group therapy course and was told repeatedly that my insurance would cover the costs, and that the total balance to me would be $0. I asked specifically about the cost several times because I was not interested in participating if it was going to cost money. Reassured each time they had checked my insurance and there would be no cost to me. Received a nearly $300 bill afterwards and, when I reached out, a "sorry you misunderstood." A lesson to me to confirm this information at each step myself before agreeing. The therapy course was just okay and the psychiatrist was generally helpful for other matters. Consistently had scheduling, prescription, and billing issues with other medications coordinated by the hospital.

Scarred me for life, my therapist said I had signs of suicide even though I would never ever take my life. They sent me here for a week and that was a bad week. Don’t send your kid to therapy, they will spy on you and any small word from your mouth they will immediately send you to a mental hospital. Talk to your kids and be open, honest, and listening to them.

I was a patient of the partial hospitalization program for a couple days and I was shocked at how infantile and juvenile the treatment was. I need serious help and serious treatment but being treated like a 6 year old is not on my list of ways I want to be treated. I felt the program was dehumanizing and degrading. I voiced this opinion in one of the group sessions and later that day another full grown adult spoke out in the group saying she wanted to “do violent” things to me. I obviously freaked and thought I wouldn’t come the next day. Cynthia Diwan spoke to me about the incident. When I told her I do feel the that the program is juvenile and that threatening violence doesn’t equal out. I was told that it is shocking that I have not had this type of reaction before to a negative comment. I mean... it was shocking and horrifying. I am used to dealing with adults and speaking in an adult manner. Cynthia all but used the words “this is your fault”. The blame was clear. I am in the wrong and violent comments are acceptable no matter how the victim of such comments feels. Do not go here unless you are ok with basically holding hands and singing camp fire songs. This program is essentially adult daycare with a smidge of life basics thrown in.

A loved one received superior care as an inpatient here. Although the case was severe and atypical, accurate diagnosis was made and appropriate intervention provided. We found the care team to be both caring and expertly skilled. Thank you for everything!

Morning. Most staff are available by email at Langley Porter. Could you be more specific about your purpose in making contact? Such as are you looking for a job? Are you looking for services? Are you a vendor hoping to sell us a new photocopier?
