Went to their outpatient today for help for my son. The doctor of that day, don’t remember her name, but was a Asian female. She was very rigid with my son. He tried joking which myself and the caseworker acknowledged and laughed a little. This doctor just scowled. She was incredibly condescending and impatient with my son. She didn’t seem to care for him and actually put him down. I felt pressure to get her to care about my son so that she would help us. I told her that my son had two semesters of college under his belt. In a hateful tone she said, one year of college, is that all?!” Who says that to a patient with developmental and mental illness? She is not fit to deal with developmental or mentally ill people. She is prejudice, judgmental, and unprofessional. I can imagine the horrid mistreatment/bullying she dishes out to the poor souls who have to deal with her on their own. She needs to develop compassion and accept that There are reasons why many of our developmental and/or mentally ill people don’t get their college degrees in the traditional timeframes as those who don’t suffer with developmental and/or mental illnesses. It was a disturbing experience and complete waste of time. We were there over 3 hours. The rest of the staff were respectful and kind and lovely towards myself and my son. It would be a disservice to our community to keep that doctor on board at Bayview.

Very helpful, typed me a list of things to get done, so I didn't have to organize my needs myself while I was in distress. They called all the people who could help me and even got me a phone. I watched some cool documentarys, had some really helpfull staff members. I was out of touch with reality and could barely speak and they helped me with so much. They really cared about me.

I had to get some help for my son who was going through a rough patch and decided to visit Bayview because it is near our house. The staff were very pleasant, and went out of their way to help my son feel comfortable and at ease. Sylvia was a sweetheart as were all of the other nurses on the night of 1/28/22, and I got a chance to video conference with Dr. Ravi who was very caring and professional. My son was only there for a few hours mind you, from 11:45pm-3:30am, but everything was fine, the conference room was clean, and they went above and beyond to help.

Absolutely terrible I was brought here by emergency services and I would truly like to say my stay there was anything but pleasant. Other than the nurses yelling at patients who clearly can’t speak up for themselves or probably don’t even know any better , they had roaches and the food was anything but edible probably why they took our phones so that we couldn’t record the horrible facility. I was there for 4 days and not once were we allowed outside group time. One nurse was completely condescending to me and my my situation. At the end 10/1000 would not recommend to anyone

Sounds like if he's underage you need to get a psych evaluation best way about going and doing that is to go in and speak to a counselor if he has Suicidal Thoughts then you do need to call nine-one-one and tell him that he is wanting to harm himself and told u he is going to kill himself. They have to take him. He sounds like he needs help and medicine
