Had an appointment for oil change in afternoon. Something came up and we knew we couldn't make the time we had. We went to see if we could change our appt. We spoke with Angel and he said don't worry he'll help us seeing that we were already. Angel is very personable, he also kept us up to date with the progress of our car. I came to Boch Toyota regarding a rattling sound I kept hearing. ( thank goodness it was not serious, my battery cover came off & that was causing the rattling ). I came in for routine maintenance and the service advisor was outstanding. He explained the service being performed and thankfully recommended a wheel alignment I had forgot to mention that I needed. He also proactively scheduled a future 6-month service appointment. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous escorting me to the cashier and to my vehicle. That sucks man, but that's more of a Toyota issue then it is Boch per say.
Uh... the return policy on cars is REALLY tight in general. Your contract shoud say. If you're lucky, you have 7 days and minimal mileage... If their service is bad enough to be considered a breach of the contract on their side instead, you should contact an attorney at law to look into your legal options.
In general, unless you agreed with the sales and/or financing person that two keys were included, you are not going to obtain a second key for free. This is common with most dealers. You need to convince them to give you two keys during the bargaining process or they'll give you only one. You can buy a copy of the key at any Toyota dealer but it's going to cost you a few hundred dollars. They're laser cut and electronically coded, so they're expensive.
I was there maybe an hour or 2 purchasing my car and I saw a lady with some cleaning solution come by maybe 2x cleaning frequently touched surfaces.
Oh they are not telling you about taxes and "shop fees" too. Like 10 bucks for piece of paper they put on your floor.
Sure, they will lowball your trade and make money off it, then make money off a new car.
Easy answer, ... Next time you take the truck in for the complementary oil change, look at one they have on display in the showroom. If it is on that truck then it is normal. I would say that it is a textured and specially treated area to protect the metal from small rock and road debris damage.
