JC Penny is always a great stop... lots of nice items for all...

I've held a store card for more than 20 years and have always gone to JCP for all suits and formal wear. Things have drastically changed since covid. All suits and ties have been liquidated it seems with no choice but to shop elsewhere. Thank you Penney and goodbye

I made a quick trip into JCP to grab a few after surgery lounge clothes. Preston was ringing out my clothes noticed a spot on an item and walked back to ladies Pjs to exchange item. Preston is always willing to assist with a smile.

I went there looking for a Tie for a last minute Funeral I had to go to, and the store was an absolute mess! Things were all over the floor, thrashed about on the tables, tons of open and unfolded product for a clothing store. Their prices were high, but that's to be expected. When I was looking for someone for assistance, there was nobody. When I first walked in the woman wasn't the kindest, when I found someone to cash me out she first started walking away, then when she was ringing me out I was explaining my worries with the out of package tie, and rather than giving me confidence in their products, or maybe a simple explanation for the disarray of the store, she just told me it was fine. The next day I went back to return the tie that I didn't even end up using, and walked around the entire store until I found someone. And let me say, this gentleman was the only saving grace of the store. He was extremely helpful, kind, and helped me return my product no questions asked. If it wasn't for him, the only positive part of the experience I had in this store, I never would've given more than a one star. Overall, Don't get your hopes up.

I don't work for JC Penney, but from personal experience I believe they will let you do an even exchange without a receipt, like if you want to exchange something for a different size or something that is defective. Otherwise, if you want to get something different, they will give store credit for the lowest price the item was. So if something is 100$ and it was on sale for a percentage off, you'd get that sale amount for store credit
Not that I know of.. Google it or check there stock in the NYSE or SP500
The Newington, NH store went out of business. Could try the one in North Conway, NH if thats still open
