Very challenging. Eventually rock stones straight up. It is 4 miles up not the 2 miles indicated. But you get to the top it is quite a vie. Not much to see until you get there. Glad I did it just didn’t know how tough. Now to be fair a couple past me and the mom had her four year old on her back. So you decide.

Great fun hike - gets a little steep near the last ¼ of the trail. Easy trail access by vehicle, and outhouse provided at outset of trail. Fairly strenuous at times. It quickly showed me how overweight and out-of-shape that I am, and for that I applaud you, Big Moose Mountain Trailhead!

Great views, strenuous hike due to elevation. Path is longer than what is shown in Google currently. You get to a fork, there's scenery to the left, but the trail continues to the right, past the helicopter pad and cell tower.

Big Moose Mountain was amazing! The hike seemed endless! Lots of terrain for the wife and pups to climb. This mountain has lots of rough patches and will truly test your endurance. Lots of fun though but there are some incredibly steep areas so be careful when bringing a dog, better to judge as you climb.

I went with a friend and my dog and we stayed at the top for a half hour before descending back down. It took us just under 4 hours
