I really got to live the David and Goliath story in My Father's House in Costa Mesa I tell you true with all my heart
Michael Mcintyre
This place is awesome. The help they give people is outstanding. This church is helping make Costa Mesa a better place to live by offering transitional housing. It's designed to get homeless people into permanent housing and be self sufficient. The program works with the city of Costa Mesa get people to get back into being a part of society again.

A good place to commune with Jesus Christ. This church does so much for the homeless, it's amazing how they do it. It's nice listening to the sermo s of Padtor Phil, he always has uplifting words of support. It's really a nice place to visit and be a part of.

It's not for kids, or families. I'm sure county social services can figure out something. 211 is probably a good start.
Yes, but she needs a referral from either the City of Costa Mesa or the Costa Mesa PD. Let me know if you need a phone number to talk to someone about it.
Come by and speak with lindah miles. She is the director of the outreach program. Thank you.
You can normally take your dog but beds are normally on a waiting list availability. I'd say that the Salvation Army 14 day men's shelter in Santa Ana or the Courtyard in Santa Ana is a better bet. Can't say what they'll do about your dog. Call 211 for the Santa Ana info (there's a pickup point for the Salvation Army, and you show up at 7a at the old bus station for the Courtyard to apply. Get setup by tomorrow or Friday...or count on stealth urban camping...a health club membership for showers and bathrooms helps. For Costa Mesa, call the PD during office hours and tell them your situation. If you're not getting much traction there, ask for John B's number but as far as calling him I'll give you a hint: He's got way too much on his plate but if he can, he'll help but if you get an out of area call, answer it. He doesn't have time to play phone tag and far too many people ask for help, but don't ever follow up on what they need to do. Answer any questions honestly. Don't hold back
Tha bridge shelter is located at this Anaheim address. It is sponsored by Mercy House. They will take him if they have room or do d a bed for him. There is also a place out in Cherry Valley called house of decision which is a woman's house but they also have a men's house. Also st free inbCabazon and Riverside areas. You can contact any city official in Costa Mesa or he can take the shuttle into the shelter. Have him go to SOS and they can help him. SOS is well known amongst the street people and located at 1550 superior ave in Costa Mesa as well. Good luck and godspeed... The bridge is a good program.
Ask Herman, office manager at the lighthouse, or ask for lindah miles. Or wrost option Mike an upper interviewing position at SOS. Make an appointment by calling share our selves you want the back where food, other services and mail. NOT MEDICAL OR DENTAL. MIKE IS A SUPERVISOR AND BEEN THERE YEARS & YEARS . LINDAH MILES IS BEST BUT BUSY . LEAVE HER A LETTER . SORRY I CAN'T GIVE HER NUMBER WITHOUT HER PERMISSION.
Yes, about 10:30, after morning service.
Correction: Not anymore now that it's home to the temporary bridge shelter trailers. I think they do, I'm always at The Crossing Saturday mornings (Food, clothes, charging outlets, showers, storage, sometimes painting and haircuts).
No. Not At This Time. :-(
Yes, see one of the other posts. You have to go through a counselor.
Yes.!
I don't believe they are taking anymore people for mail. Usually Mon thru frid in the mornings after 9am.
There is a shower trailer every Friday morning, after the Bible reading, about the same time that the kitchen window opens. The doors usually open at 7a or so. The list and a pen is usually on one of the freezers in the back of the room where you sit, usually the freezer to the right of the doorway closest to the kitchen window. I normally pick up the list between 0730 and 0800, so if you don't see it after those times go outside to the shower trailer and ask if you can still get on the list. Many days the list gets full before I pick it up, so getting on the list depends on you showing up before 0730. If you are new, once the Bible reading is over, go back to the trailer and introduce yourself and point to your name on the list... and make sure you stay somewhere I can find you. We also have the trailer Mon & Wed at the Church of Christ on Wilson, and Sat at The Crossing on Newport Blvd.
