These guys went above and beyond to help me and my family in a tough situation a few years ago. In desperation, I called them again recently. This time they were unable to help my situation, and I was greatly disappointed in one officer's demeaner and attitude. But, these guys care and it is so obvious; another officer checked up on me afterwards, went above and beyond to call and check on me, and though my situation was not one he could fix, just his empathy and compassion for my situation greatly alleviated some of my stress and grief. I'm so grateful we have people like this in these positions and that they are willing and able to uphold the law and help people.

As of March 2020 the Lane County Sheriff's office requires you make an appointment to apply for a concealed permit. They're 7 MONTHS OUT! Absolutely absurd!

The men and women at the sheriff's office have always been kind and understanding when I needed them. They have treated me with respect regardless of the issues I contacted them with. They are all Mother's, Father's, sisters and brother's. The people wearing the badge's have gone above and beyond for my family.

I was a long way from home when my rental car had a blow out and sent me into a ditch. I was lost and scared and the deputies were so kind and helpful. They gave me a ride to my my hotel leaving the car for me to pick up with a tow truck. I was out of my element and felt helpless but they really made me feel safe. Thank you to the deputies and dispatch for being so professional..

The answers you seek are online. Follow the rabbit hole if suing is your objective. P.S. lawyers work for themselves, they are the same scum as law enforcement.
