They changed everything around. Now I'm hurting and my heart rate or at 144 and there id nothing that can do about it... Last time I was here. Thry gave me valume and that helps tremendously more than what they are goving nw. I just want to walk out because im not getting the care I need

Buckley detox is pretty great. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and they do their best to keep the patients comfortable. I was impressed by the staff to patient ratio and how every person had such a great attitude and when they asked if there was anything they could do for you they really meant it and answered requests with a smile. As far as their detox protocol goes, besides the initial period when you I to wait to feel “sick”, I felt good. Buprenorphine is seriously a wonder drug (when used short term). Lastly the food was great and there were plenty of snacks 24/7. If I ever need detox again this is definitely the place I will call

I may have rated this place a 3 but what they pulled towards the end of my stay was very wrong. I actually walked out and so did, at least, 5 others that I know of during my 3.5 day stay (and that was only on the mens side!). The food was good but the building is dilapidated and the cleanliness more like a seedy motel on Burnside in Portland. Many patients were highly over-medicated...lot less work for them I suspect if patients can't do anything but sleep and drool on themselves. Note that several other reviewers make this same statement! They work hard to move you right into their 'Residential Facility', whether you need it or not. Make no mistake about it, this is first & foremost a business and Buckley looks to be the 'feeder system" for their even more lucrative residential facility. The longer you stay, the more money they make. Honestly, I was a courteous, respectful client until they started their BS. I was told I was to check out the next day at 8am. 20 minutes later they tell me "no", you're here until, at least, 8pm. I had already made arrangements to be picked at 8 am but was told, in no uncertain terms, to "just change it"! I told them I took issue with this change of release times....and what happened next was pretty unbelievable...they put me in a small office with the biggest guy on staff and was effectively 'held hostage' for over 2 hours while this guy used every lame tactic in the world to keep me at this facility. I finally got up, got a little aggressive and just walked out of this little cell they use to pressure and intimidate (didn't work with me!) people into staying against their wishes. I'm sure they are trained to do anything it takes not to lose their precious money. Sick... He kept saying the release date mix up was simply a mistake... and I fully agreed that everyone makes mistakes, including me. It was mentioned that a mistake was made and their "system" had broke down. NOW get this, when I asked what their 'system' was, he showed me a multitude of handwritten messages on 'Sticky Notes'. No joke! This is stuff you can't even make up!!! Run the other way, if Buckley Detox is ever even mentioned.... BY THE WAY, I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A NEGATIVE REVIEW!!!!! I also recorded all of this on my phone, so if there is any question about the validity of my comments, I would not hesitate to share it with the world
