I travel to Charlottesville several times a year, but I usually stay at another Choice property. The location was good, so I decided to stay here. I opened the bedside table drawer, and it was filled with garbage, including the label from someone's medication. In the bathroom, someone had stuffed a wad of tissues in the dispenser. When I pulled it out, it was clearly not fresh. When I showed pictures of the mess to the woman at the front desk, I received a cursory apology, but she wrote nothing down. Had she offered some sort of compensation and explained why this was an exception, I would have been satisfied. As it is, I'd have to be pretty desperate to return here.

Clean, quiet room, comfortable beds and four big comfy pillows on each bed. Breakfast was provided in the morning, the food was pretty standard and they kept the dining room clean. I got a good night's rest and that's all I wanted.

Gloria, James, Dawn and Barbara were all welcoming, accommodating, friendly, professional, warm and hospitable! I appreciate you All. To the GM of this property, please take care of them, because they take care of your guests!

I was very happy to have heat and a hot shower after days without it due to a snowstorm. There were things that were broken (heater in our room, whirlpool, no remote) but we made due and were able to change rooms. It does appear this particular property needs some upgrades and it most likely time to begin a remodel as in general the condition of the room and furnishing showed signs of wear. Overall it was a comfortable and much needed stay!!
