I've had a lot of difficulties with SSA but Kiera (spelling) was wonderful. She qualified me quickly and got right on task. She was able to provide the correct information and got me onto the rest of my day. Sorry to the employee that I didn't get her name completely correct but it's a unique name so I'm quite sure she'll be recognized, I hope.

Two days, 1hr. 40 mins. still no answer, maybe someone should check to make sure they haven't all died!

I was worried because you hear all the horrible stories people have but I am NOT one of those people. I spoke with a male there (can't recall his name) but what a pleasure. He was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. He even helped me with some questions I didn't think he would be willing to answer. For once the Government HAS done something right by hiring such a great guy, just wish I could remember his name so he could get the credit for this review. Thank you to whoever you are, thank you

As of 06-09-2021 still not taking appointments except for those that have never had a SS card. Phone experience was great though. Fairly short hold time, extremely helpful. Walked me through everything needed to take care of changes.

Can you get your social security card on line
No. I would suggest filing online at www.socialsecurity.gov. You can also walk into the office, but there is no guarantee that an employee will be free to help you right away.
Pretty sure you can do that right online...if not you can call Bangor office number and they will print and send to you....just expect a long wait on phone
Get direct express card it works everywere
You should get a new card in the mail about 10-14 days after we process the name change.
Mail the ORIGINAL document to us at 202 Harlow St, Room 10307, Bangor, ME 04401
Yes you can do that
Bangor office takes walk-ins. I had to wait maybe 20 minutes to see someone who answered all my questions and then scheduled a follow-up appointment.
It could be due to all the stimulus money they're sending out or another reason, a lot of things are messed up right now, I'd either go to thier website or call them and ask what the issue is, they might not even be aware you haven't received it so you probably should call
Hi there Donald, so if your updating your social security withholding you would just mail it to the local social securities administration.
The social security administration has applications online. You need to print and complete them, provide the originals of the documents they need as listed on the website, and drop the application in the box at a local office. They'll send the documents back in a couple days and the card arrives in a couple weeks. I believe you can submit the applications but you still need to send the original documents to them. Call the office first because the drop boxes for the documents are only available during certain times.
Call them. Don't give up until you get answers.
My boyfriends was posted 2 days ago check your account like past transaction which I thought was off cuz the first falls on monday
You dont need one to enter the building
No you do not. But depending on time of day there may be busy and have to wait for your ticket to be called off to talk to someone.
