We picked this hotel because a review said the beds were comfortable. That was not what we experienced! The mattress was hard and we hardly slept. It would be nice to know in your ammenities section if the mattresses are rated firm, soft or in between.

Positive: Location. The check in man was very nice. Room was clean, good towels and fridge and microwave. Negative: Homeless camp just over the fence in back parking lot. Two guys drinking whisky at the entrance to the hotel at 10:30 in the morning. I did not feel safe in the parking lot coming back night from the film festival. I was a woman alone.

One month ago I reserved and paid for a room through a respected third party site so as I crossed the country I'd have few concerns. I received confirmation and a nice "looking forward to your visit" email from the hotel 3 days prior. When I show up to check in they can't find my reservation. They check under my confirmation number still nothing. They have no room for me. I'm tired, my group has been driving for 10 hours. At their recommendation I call the third party site, who tries to resolve the issue. 30 minutes later after I'm in another hotel the staff at La Quinta call having found my original reservation. If they won't help resolve issues and communication with third party reservation companies isn't compatible with their system then they should not use them and get the business they bring in.

Not bad for the price we got our room for. What was great was our doggy was welcomed! We could see stains on the carpet but they do try to keep the rest of the room very clean. There was no full breakfast due to Covid. There is a Cracker Barrel behind the hotel with a great 6.99 lunch special and a Walmart walking distance. There is a area for your doggy to poop.
