Sweet museum, great for kids 5-6 and younger (has a separate play space for non-walkers too). Lots to explore, very hands on!

I brought my twins down the Cape for the weekend. We googled nearby activities and up pops the Children's Museum, I assumed it would be just like any other little museum we have been too. However it is absolutely not. Warmly greeted, directed us to everything we might need. I am COVID crazy- it was so clean. So many different learning tools I havent seen yet. Music, but using all types of instruments the kids had not seen. Log cabin, fishing area, submarine, vet area, floating balls, puzzles. Not just matching the pieces but actually forming a shape or letter so the kids really needed to try and figure it out. The handkerchief in a tube was there jam. They loved that one. I am pretty sure she was the owner (painting a boat in the corner) was so nice, chatting and giving a little history to me on the museum while the kids played. Just so many fun things my little ones had yet to experience and it was awesome. As we were finishing up my son, had the biggest meltdown. Biting, kicking, scratching me it was a nightmare. The other woman that was at the desk - was SO sweet and calm and gave me advice in the moment and I really needed it. She didnt side eye me or make me feel bad she told me I was doing great and to hang on and it just stuck with me. Loved the entire experience, next visit down the Cape we will ABSOLUTELY be back. Thank you!!

Great local place for the kids. Perfect for a rainy day or cold weather. Went for a birthday party and had Blast

If the E.I teacher is there with you, than your child will get in for free. That was prior to EI switching from Cape Cod Child Development to Kennedy-Donovan Center though, so I am not sure if their connects are still the same.
Yes, the hours are 10am to 5pm.
Noon to 5PM HAVE FUN!!
I'm not sure about this specific location but it started at a mall in 1992, according to their history on the website.
