Very understanding woman. She takes care of at least 20-30 Chinchillas at any given time. I was unable to keep my chin, donated all of his supplies and gave her a money donation as well. Chins are not cheap or always easy to care for, so a big shout out to the woman who runs this. 💗💞

Chinchilla prices vary by age, color, and personality. Shelter chinchilla prices range from $75 to $150, pedigreed chins range from $150 to $400. Babies are always placed in pairs, they start at $250. Angoras are sometimes available starting at $1000 and priced according to fur length and color. There is an application and free zoom care class required for all adoptions.

do they sell baby chinchillas and if so how old are they?

Yes, Maine Chinchilla Ranch sells baby chinchillas when they are ready to leave their mom, about 10 weeks old. Chins live about 15 years, so shopping for personality is better than shopping for the youngest one. Most of the shelter chinchillas are adults and are used to being held.

I also sell food, toys, dust, and cages when available.

so i read online that if i get the chinchilla as a baby, as it grows up it will become more used to me and we will bond more, is this true? this is what i want to do just so we can bond and have a strong relationship

It's much easier to determine a chinchilla's disposition when they are over 6 months old. A well bred and healthy chin easily bonds with it's owner if the owner is consistent with routine and care.
