BOB ROMANO IS THE BEST You can not do better than this. A 6 min drive/ 10 min bike/ 20 min walk to downtown. You can go right to Wood Street and even get close to Duquesne! A great alternative to campus living if you want more autonomy. I could walk to work downtown so the location is great. It is also more secluded than downtown, and a lot more gorgeous next to a pretty park and lots of good restaurants. But besides the awesome location, the Landlord; Bob Romano, is a wonderful honest working man. He really worked with me on the move in and move out dates and even let me leave some things behind. He really works hard to make his living spaces beyond suitable for his tenants and has an entire staff ready to help with any need at all. He is very kind and has office hours so you can talk face to face if you need anything (he also has phone services so you can just call an issue in 24/7). Also, this historic building is quite beautiful. High ceilings, lofts, and the metal in the walls make it hard to hear any outside/ neighbor noise (which is great). My boyfriend's great great uncle went here for school so it was fun to invite his family over to see the school turned modern luxury apartment. The community is excellent too. Everyone in the building knows each other and everyone is friendly! I could not have asked for a better place to live. The only reason I am leaving is to move in with my boyfriend and settle down. If I did not need to move I wouldn't. Honestly one of the best places I have lived with the best landlord.

Awesome place but way too expensive and everyone who lives there is beyond snooty and uptight - not friendly at ALL - rudest renters alive - wouldn't recommend

Helpful staff, well kept apartments, beautiful views of the city, older appliances. A warning to people who haven't lived in a city there are lots of helicopters landing on the west side of the building at AGH. I don't really notice them but have had complaints from people I had over.
