White Lotus is still one of the best food spots in all of Dayton! The inside hasn’t changed at all in the last 15 years and that’s really what makes the place special unlike any other place in downtown Dayton. The food is still perfectly curated for anything you would like. The chicken pad Thai was lovely the burgers are always a hit. Whenever I come in the town I have to go here because it takes me back to my college days. The owner greets you warmly and makes you feel like you are her child. This is a special special place and it holds a very rare spot in the hearts of many.

This is not Tai food anymore. It is now Agnes Caribbean food. It's fine if that's what you're looking for. But it is not what I was hoping for... Oh well. Google, please update this listing

Amazing place, but set your expectations: It's a one woman operation, and she moves at her own pace. Don't come if you're in a rush, and don't call your order in (she probably won't make it until you arrive). But if you're in the mood to sit at a lunch counter and watch her cook amazing food while casually commenting on the street traffic, this is the place for you. I got the Chicken Chili with Basil (aka Pad Krapow/grapow), and it was excellent. Had a smoker flavor than other versions I've had. Also: The spice level is on the upper end. Her medium is higher than the hottest available at many Thai places.

This was my first trip! I ordered Thai Noodle soup and it was so delicious. Lots of flavor and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I asked for 5 out of 10 spicy and I'm pretty adventurous and it was still WOW. The heat builds slowly then pow! Next time I'll get 4. Will come back for this and delicious Iced Tea. My friend enjoyed the spring rolls. Owner/Operator works alone so expect to wait but food was worth it.

The amount of food is worth the price, but more importantly, the taste is so phenomenal you'll not even question prices anymore. For example, there's this tea that's like $3 or $5 a cup (I forget price), regular size cup. I was on a lunch date with my lady at this place, both of our first time visiting (and we have kids, so they take all our money), and was hesitant about spending that much on a drink. So she ordered the tea for us to share and I stuck with my usual water. After one sip, I forgot about the cost and regretted not ordering two teas. So far, basically everything we've ordered from there has been delicious and whatever it costs is whatever it costs.
