Just disappointed. I don’t get to eat out at steakhouses often but I always remembered Long Horn was way above the competition of other steakhouses typically. Tonight was the exception. I’d say short staffing was to blame but, here goes. Had to wait several minutes to be seated on an otherwise dead night, there was nobody greeting at the door. When I did get seated and got the order started, I asked for water with a lemon and never got the lemon, never got any bread before the meal and the steak…I usually get the renegade but tonight I wanted to go a little better in quality and price. So I got the 9 oz Flo and asked to have it cooked medium rare. I typically prefer medium but know it’s always over cooked anyways from past experiences with steakhouses. It came out D.O.N.E.! It was like eating a patty off a McDonald’s hamburger that was cooked to death. There wasn’t a hint of pink. I did get some bread though after I asked as I was afraid I’d be going home hungry.

My family chose to have lunch here after my father-in-law’s retirement ceremony from the Highway Patrol. Jamil took great care of all 11 of us and I just have to say, he is a master of his craft! He was energetic, he knew the menu well, and he kept us laughing with his witty personality. He is an incredible asset to this establishment. The food was on point as well, prepared perfectly and served hot. Thank you for making that day awesome!

Their was a wait before we was seated but the hostess did tell us before we came. We didn't mind the wait. Once we got seated they took our drink order, and he did bring out the bread and butter. The bread was warm so the butter melted when you put it on the bread. My son got the steak and I got the ribs. The food came out and we had to ask where our salad was? Then when my son cut into his steak it wasn't what he ordered. They was very nice bout it and took it back, we ate our salads while he was waiting for his steak, the fries are so good. If you like BBQ ribs you should order them they are so good. Yes they did make it right with us on the bill. All I can say is please be nice to the staff, they are doing their best. If you think you can do any better then go work at a restaurant and see what they are going through

All I'll say is everything was cooked very well. No need for additional walk and pepper. Our server, Misty was really friendly. If your in the area of miller lane and Benchwood in Dayton stop in for a good experience and good food as well.
