The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice, but there was no fridge or microwave and the towels didn't seem so clean. We were looking forward to using the pool, but it was "closed for maintenance" for our entire stay, and it's been in maintenance for a while supposedly.

Where do I start? On check in I was given a room that 1. Reeked of smoke 2. Was filthy—hair, dirt, gross toilet 3. On a floor with garbage piled up in the hall. I requested a new room and was given one. It was marginally better. However, the sheets were stained, the blankets had burn holes, the floor was dirty, the tv was broken. I only stayed because other hotels were full. The next morning, I woke up to more cigarette smoke, apparently because the morning front desk person was sitting by the front entrance, smoking, and all the interior doors were open, allowing the fumes to fill the hallway. I decided to leave even though I had paid for two nights. Would have been nice to talk to someone but the staff couldn’t be bothered to stop smoking long enough to come in and assist. I ended up just dropping the room key at the counter and leaving after standing there waiting for someone to help. The only bright spot was the front desk person who was working when I checked in Friday night. She was lovely and did her best to help. I used the stay here and while basic, it was always clean. Things have obviously changed.

I had scheduled a 2 week stay halfway threw my stay I left for 2 nights. Prior to leaving I stopped at the front desk and let them know I would be gone and please clean my room. I received a text message on the second day saying “did you check out? Your room is empty” upon arriving back at my room everything I had left there was stolen. Police report made. While waiting for police another guest told me everything that had been taken. Refund requested for remainder of stay and I went to another hotel. Beware staff either took all my stuff or left the door open and another guest helped themselves to my stuff.

Made my reservation through Motel 6 app, while doing so didn't a space for requests. Called and spoke to Kelsey and she said she would make sure my request would be on my reservation. Arrived had a speedy check in and was told floor in my room was just mopped but by the time I would get to the room it would be dry. Well it wasn't but that's fine (proof that it was mopped) and Mya (housekeeper) apologized. As the floor dried Mya and I had such a wonderful conversation in the hall. She was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very CLEAN!!! That night before I went to bed I had a few questions and concerns and Drew who was on duty for the night went up and beyond to answer and feel comfortable about my stay. Everytime Drew would see me or any other guests he always greeted EVERYONE EVERYTIME!!! He always asked if I needed anything. Drew is a friendly reliable guy! When I went to checkout I was greeted by Mya who once again was very friendly and Charity (front desk) also very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and definitely will again. I was sad to leave. All the associates are HUGE assets to this location and should be rewarded and greatly appreciated by the owners! Thank you Drew, Kelsey, Mya, and Charity for making this motel so welcoming and very clean place to stay!!!

Have ever thought of using air mattresses? Cool in summer , warmer in winter ?
