Drop off was smooth with app. However at pickup realized I never got ticket and attendant/manager couldn't find my car/keys. After 30in or so, discovered keys had been pulled and were already at desk.

Used to be a good option to park around SFO. But it's shuttle service became horrible. Too infrequent especially during peak hours. Should prepare waiting more than 20 min. One time it was too slow I gave up and took an Uber to go to their parking lot. They blame traffic but it's their system broken. The automatic text system asks valley ticket number but even if I provide the ticket number the system does nothing. And the poor driver has to manaully tell the operator each parking ticket numbers, and doing so takes as much time as actual driving. No wonder why it's so slow. And their direction to pick up location doesn't have any details so very easy to get confused.

DO NOT USE THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE UNLESS YOU BOOK ONLINE!!! After finding out that the hotel we'd planned to park at didn't have shuttle service after 5 pm, we called SFO Park and Ride and asked what they charged and asked if they had 24/7 shuttle service to the airport. The man on the phone told us their daily fee, and invited us to come right then. After arriving, he gave us a parking stub and told us we would pay when we picked up our car. Tonight, after landing in SFO, we called them to pick us up. They told us to wait at the wrong spot outside the terminal, and when we finally got a ride back to our car, the bill was nearly twice what was quoted to us on the phone. The man behind the counter just kept arguing with us about what we were told when we dropped off the car. Finally, he said that there are two different prices: A reasonable price IF AND ONLY IF SOMEONE MAKES AN ONLINE RESERVATION BEFORE PARKING THERE, and the other, really expensive price was for those who just drove in without a prior reservation. The man we talked to first on the phone never said anything about us needing a reservation, and he quoted us the lower price. The cashier tonight didn't apologize for the misinformation, wanted us to identify the man who we'd talked to 4 days prior, didn't believe what we were trying to explain to him, and just kept quoting the high price. I finally asked if he could extend to us a coupon discount, and he asked if we had Triple A, which we do. He took off a massive 7 dollars. WE WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN.

A reservation is definitely not required but it is good to reserve your space to be assured parking. This is from the FAQ on their website: For drive up (no reservation): Simply login and click on the loyalty icon On entry: Scan your membership QR code from your app and a virtual ticket will be generated. (No need to push for a paper ticket) On exit: Scan your membership QR code on any exit kiosks and simply follow directions on the kiosk screen.

You can pay when you leave the parking lot, park n fly will adjust accordingly to your parking duration.
