My experience with Samy's Camera is usually good, however I am quiet disappointed that they would email me stating they would purchase my lens only for them to back out of the offer. As stated in an email sent my Samy's: "For the Sigma 105mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro we would offer $150.00 in Canon/Nikon/Sony mounts." They also stated, "Subject to inspection. You can also take your gear in to any Samy's camera for a firm offer." Unfourtunately this was an absolute lie. I ended up driving 45 minutes only for one of the employees to ask me what lens I'm selling, followed by *not* even inspecting the lens, only for the offer to be "trade-in only" rather than what they emailed me. Ridiculous. This was my first time back at this location (Pasadena) in a couple of years. I would definitely head to a different location than Pasadena.

I have shopped with Samy's Camera for over 25 years, and have only had good experiences. I now shop with them from out of state and still Samy's is my go to camera supply shop. Just placed a order on Wednesday, it was packaged and shipped the next day, and I received it Saturday. Awesome, product and professional service. Don't waste your time with others, just shop the pros.....stick with Samy's Camera no matter where you live.

Samy's is great. Friendly, knowledgeable. They have a decent selection for a relatively small store (Pasadena) and the rental department is usually well-equipped.

I was a first time customer and I would suggest this store to any & all camera owners. Employees all had wonderful customer service from walking in the store to walking out. I was helped by Patrick and was very impressed with the customer service but as well with the help he had given to solve issues on my own personal camera, also was helped by Art with an on point sensor cleaning that left my camera good as new! First time coming here and definitely won't be the last ! Highly recommend! Excellent customer service!

Call Samy's, if they don't have it in-store, they can get it from the Fairfax store in a couple of days.

Sadly I don't live there, but my experience at samys was great. I'm sure they will have what you need, if not just be amazed at all their other equipment :-)

At the moment, no, but we are always taking them in when we can, so feel free to check in regularly, or call an associate. We'd be happy to call you if one arrives.
We send lenses to manufacturers for repair. We just charge 20 dollars for 2 way shipping.
They do though I was told they send film to a lab in LA. It's about a week for turnaround

Yup. They'll appraise your gear on the spot and offer store credit. In my experience the quotes they've given me -- and which I accepted -- were very fair.
They have a full service counter staffed with professionals to help you with this. Call them.
