J&L Cleaning

I just visit a friend that lives here. Parking is sparse at times. All tenants seem friendly. Parking lot clean. The complex right next to this one has fabulous landscaping makes this place look a bit sad. Walls are super thin. We can hear everthing, not always G rated either. But they allow pets and that is awesome. Dont know if all car heights widths would fit in the garage-good storage or a garage. Not big enough for both. Bathroom is larger than the 1 I have in my home. Never had any contact with manager or maintenance so can not speak about that area. Cute patios, set up nicely.

I've lived here since they were very first built. The first six months were great. Now there is never any parking anywhere. The place is never clean anymore. If you need something repaired good luck. The office is never open and when you call the mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. Screaming children everywhere. I've had SEVERAL packages STOLEN from my front door and I live in the third floor!!!! The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything around you. Cops are called and there on a nightly basis. I wouldn't wish these living conditions on my worst enemy. We are leaving as soon as possible and I will never ever recommend this to anyone. Cheap rent because you get what you pay for. This place is a total disgrace. Please don't let pictures deceive you!! It's all about fat lie. I've never lived in such deplorable conditions. Worst management company I've ever seen!!!!

Been here a month so far and I have to say I absolutely adore Jennifer and we love our apartment, she has been so helpful with our move. The apartments are beautiful and well taken care of. The parking unfortunately is a bummer just because there isn't enough spots by each apartment and taking kids out in the snow is a hassle all on its own. Would recommend for sure

I wish I could be more generous with assigning the number of stars for this apartment as the actual living space is excellent, but the staff and support here are terrible and, as a result, reduce the overall rating to two stars. When we initially applied to live here, the service and support were great. As we moved in and encountered minor and expected issues, the office all but gave up. The hours that the office were open were constantly changing which made it difficult to coordinate a time to show up on my own busy working schedule. Additionally, when the hours of operation were posted on the office door, nobody would be there or they would be gone for two or three hours without any notice of a return time. One experience that really rubbed me the wrong way was the manner in which the management handled (or failed to handle) the severe wind storms in fall 2015. If you remember, most of Spokane had power knocked out as a result of strong windstorms that blew through the PNW. While Summit Ridge could do little to combat the power outages, they could have provided notice to residents of updates and procedures taking place by and from the power companies and city. We were without power for almost six days and not once did we hear any word from the management. As the neighboring buildings had power restored a few days before ours, it would have been good to hear from management why this was the case or what was being done to remedy our lack of power. In addition, the office was close for nearly all of time the power was off and we were unable to get in contact with anyone from management. Finally, when we moved out of the building, we had to schedule a walk-through to ensure that the apartment was clean and in good condition. I called at least three times and left messages each time attempting to schedule a time to complete the walk-through. My calls were never returned and when we finally found someone in the office to talk with, they mentioned that the actual manager would have to do the walkthrough and she would not be available for a few days after we would leave (out of the state). This wasn't too big of a concern for as we had kept the apartment extremely clean and there was no damage to any walls or carpet (other than normal wear and tear). In addition, we cleaned the heck out of the apartment. We washed walls, scrubbed floors and bathrooms, bought new lightbulbs for everything, and spot-cleaned the carpet of any little specks from regular wear. However, when we received our deposit back with an itemized invoice of the deductions by the apartment, we were surprised that they charged us for items that did not, under any circumstance, require cleaning or repair. That said, I wasn't expecting to receive my full deposit back and nobody ever should. A landlord needs to maintain their investment and a part of the deposit goes to serve that purpose. However, when management fails to accommodate residents with a walkthrough and then later charges them for items which, according to the management, require cleaning and repair then there is justifiable reason to have concern about the principles and manner in which this place is operated. While this review is largely negative, there is some good to say of the place. The price and quality of the apartments are hard to beat. That being said, potential residents should be wary of the management and consider whether poor management and office staff are pills you are willing to swallow to live in an inexpensive apartment on the South Hill. Also, Dominos pizza and the gym are just down the street...so there's that.
