Small history museum with a small exhibit space that’s used well.

I stopped by the museum to see the new Hollywood of the North and was pleasantly surprised. They have a Oscar and an Emmy from a local actress (not to mention her book) ive never seen one up close in person. The music is a nice touch, they are playing 1920s to go with the theme of the exhibit. It was great to meander and listen. It made the experience all around better. The prices are still very low so i had more money to spend in the gift shop. Bullet razor made by a local? Yes please. Sick pot holders from hayden? Yea..in my bag! Give it a whirl if you havent been this year.

Tight little Museum. Well collected. Diverse displays. I enjoyed an exhibit featuring some very accomplished women at a time when they were expected to "obey". But evidently not in Idaho on the early 1900's.

Even $4 is too expensive for this museum. Too many small bulletins to read on all the subjects; the pictures displayed are fuzzy, too dark, and too small. Updating the photos with a Photoshop program would be easy. Parking is included for 1 hour with paid admission, but you are not made aware of this until you enter the museum and then have to take your ticket BACK out to your car. This museum seems like it has not been updated since the '80s.
