Can’t even make an appointment with these people. And the receptionist wants to say “nope” when I ask if I can make an appointment in advance. Whoever is running this place is bringing it to the ground. I’d rather go get help from literally anyone else than to call this place one more time just for them to tell me to call next week to make an appointment. Doesn’t make any sense at all.

Unprofessional and unwilling to help. This is my second attempt to get assistance from this office. The first time I tried getting help with an appeal and claims from 2017 to 2018. My DAV representative would not take my call nor return my call until I just gave up. I started attempting to get assistance last year from a different representative, but I am now getting the same assistance as last time. The last time I called, I asked if my representative was available and I was told "nope".

DAV is the most WORTHLESS institution. I gave then power of attorney over a month ago and NEVER received a call. Rude employees, they are not here to help vets.

Thomas, their appointments slots fill up quickly, I believe Monday AM is the best time to get an appointment for the following week

Can you get your medical records reviewed after being out for 20 years?

The DAV doesn't doesn't evaluate you, they are a veteran's assistance program. They can help you request a copy of your service medical records, and file a disability claim.

I need a left foot accelerator installed. Can someone help me with a recommendation for here in San Diego please. I'm in north park area.

I got my accelerator installed. BUT!, not just any mechanic can install it... I had to go to someone certified to install it a LFA. And, they nor anyone else that I could find will install something you ordered online as I had did. (Trying to save money)

Does Disabled American Veterans assist with an appeal process for a disability claim for which I was denied?

Go to the DAV and make and appointment with Jazmin Bravo, she's a really good advisor. I've been working with her since 2015. It took me less than a year, and I got 90% and reaceiving payments off 100%...
