Sorry, I had a whole review typed up and only the star rating saved initially. This hotel was great in almost every way. Loved the location and well kept facilities. The downside is the 2016 barn door craze seemed to trickle down to you as well. There were two barn doors in our room. One for the toilet and one for the shower / sink area. The doors are translucent frosted glass, and there is a sizable gap allowing you to see in and out of the room. Not to mention lack of sound privacy, and light pollution late at night. Privacy is important with showers and toilets. Especially in a double queen suite. As you can see from the photo, that is the view while sitting on the toilet. My only other feedback is that the beds are too firm, which is obviously more of a personal preference. If the room had regular doors allowing for adequate privacy, this would be an easy 5 stars. The staff was helpful and friendly and the location was fantastic: near highway access and restaurants. Please consider renovating this outdated and impractical design trend. -james

excellent location! great staff! I was not bothered by noises from the highway. Breakfast is ok for being complimentary. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bathroom has no lock which may be an inconvenience for some families. But overall I am very satisfied with my stay of 5 nights. I will stay here again next time without any second thoughts.

Update in response to reply: 1. I have stayed at the hotel for 12 nights, every morning I checked for warm breakfast options and it was always scrambled eggs and sausage. I asked front desk if it ever changes to which they replied no. At least add a waffle maker, offer bacon with the sausage, pancakes maker, etc. 2. The water pressure is likely due to California law. 3. I forgot to include that the pool temperature is mostly cold even though it's supposedly heated. 4. Yes, walls thin is common, but sound deadening blinds for traffic, and concrete /airgapped walls and ceilings could have been part of the construction design knowing how close you are to the interstate. 5. I also left out that upon my first day the TV remote and other knobs /handles were not clean, I had to ask the front desk for wipes, to which I was informed you were out of... So they gave me a rag with spray on it and I cleaned it myself. 6. Also didn't include the tvs screen resolution and display box is very out dated, and not properly calibrated for the screen size as part of the picture is cut off when watching Netflix /YouTube and is not possible to modify with the limited remote provided. Original review: Walls are thin, shower water pressure sucks, and the breakfast is very limited and does not change at all day to day. This is a longer term hotel, you would expect better breakfast options.

Nice clean comfortable room with a couch and desk. Also had 2 separate bathrooms, 1 with a toilet and sink, another with a sink and shower. This room had 2 beds. Also has an outdoor pool and breakfast. Good hotel. Dropped rating because the pool was closed when we went and some things could be better.
