I was in the shop on 7/23/2022 with two friends. We had driven down from central Maine so I could drop my Juki off at the only place anywhere near me that had an authorized Juki repair person. Upon entering the shop, the employees were delightful and helpful. I had left my power cord on my kitchen table back in Maine (a 3.5 hour drive away). Initially, I was devastated that I forgot it, and concerned I wouldn't be able to drop my machine off for repair after having driven all this way. They were able to send my machine out for repair anyway with a loaner cord. My friends and I chatted with the shop employees, another customer, and did some shopping. When they called me today to let me know my Machine was ready to be picked up, they remembered me and my friends. I am so pleased with my experience at this shop - they have my business for life.

7/2022 Update: Normally I put updates below my original post, but the store has since changed owners and there is a WORLD of difference in the atmosphere, employee attitudes, etc. Now the store is almost always busy, the employees take the time to learn your name, and the owner is hands down the reason this store has done such a huge turnaround. They carry a LOT of machines - Brother, Babylock, Juke, etc. Embroidery, sewing, sergers, longarm, oh my... it's amazing what she has on display, and will readily order if you want a different model. She carries Kimberbell books, kits, embroidery CDs, blanks, etc... Floriani, and ohhhh so many more! Tula Pink fabrics, And more names than I can remember. And the classes... go online and look at what they have to offer! Not once did anyone even hint that other places are less than just fine. They don't have to, because their customer service is really fantastic. 11/2018 I honestly explained that I was comparison shopping. She (owner) started by saying lessons where I came from were inferior to hers. How would she know? I did not tell her what store I'd visited. It annoys me when someone tries to make their product better by putting down another. It tells me they are not confident in their product or service. She then consistently offered machines beyond my price range, and offered nothing to account for price discrepancy (and to have my cards on the table, I showed her a photo of what I was using for comparison). Finally she relented, told me she had one for $700 less, but would not even take it out of the box. Very disappointed.

I love it, here. The staff is knowledgeable, the classes are varied and the instructor top notch, and Carol is the best. And right now (6/9 - not sure for how long) there are clearance fabrics that are 75% off, and a clearance wall currently 75% off (Embroidery CDs, some books, a ton of stuff)

One of my best experiences in any store, ever. Laura was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. So was the gentleman who does repairs (didn't catch his name) who answered some questions for me while Laura had to finish with another customer. The loyalty card program is awesome because it's on your terms...no waiting around for a coupon. I will definitely be going back to purchase thread, notions, etc. even though Amazon is my go-to for stuff like that on the cheap. I will gladly make the drive and spend an extra buck to help make sure a store like this sticks around.

Hi Patty, entry level to mid line machines are hard to come by right now. We have machines trickling in weekly. I have a list of customers looking for machines and even some that have prepaid. I am happy to put you on the list, if you would call the store and let us know what type of machine you are looking for. I agree! I've asked Google to take a picture of the front of my store NOT the back alley. They tell me they can't do that because of their technology! How lame!
