We always check out the Jazz Playhouse in the Royal Sonesta when in The Big Easy. Delightful music, great food.

Visited 8/4/22. Music great, outdoors patio style bar. Awesome band. Cajun Food served in rear. Bartender was a tremendous jerk, barked at my husband. Very rude, not personable. He gave my husband hell for moving a chair at the bar, only three chairs there, no one sitting at the bar, and thats the way the bartender wanted it. He stayed in the corner of the bar, seldom moved, appeared inconvenienced when anyone asked for a drink. The guy might be better suited bartending in a biker bar, not a tourist hotspot. Sad because this was an awesome spot, but his horrible, hateful attitude ruined it for us. You catch more flies with honey then vinegar.

We went last weekend and didn't have to wear it.
No entrance fee. Had the crab cakes and charcuterie board...both were great and so was the service.

I think so (I have taken a 12 year old to Snug Harbor) but I would call to be sure. They're very nice.
I was with someone under 21 who really looks 15 and they served her alcohol 3 nights in a row. I dont think they care much there. Other jazz bars kicked us out.
