Yes , perfect place but you have to arrive early or make a reservation.
The Jazz Playhouse is perfect for date night. Great food, drinks, staff and of course the music. Although you can't go wrong with any of the artists, see when Nayo Jones will be playing.

Court yard and food and drinks available. Starts at 8am till.differant groups. No reservations people just come and go, was there last week and stayed in royal sonesta hotel directly across street. Have picture on Google maps.FUN in open setting.
If you don't mind standing I've always found room at the bar
