I lived there once a few summers ago. The worst decision I ever made. I was unable to leave food in my apartment (literally nothing edible in my place) and I was still infested with roaches. It also flooded, a socket sparked and popped a flame. You could walk through the back entrances and there would be pipes leaking water. It was nasty. 0/10

Quality Hill Towers does not have roaches like they say. They are constantly spraying for bugs about every 2 months. All you have to do is tell them you saw a roach and they will treat your apartment. I don't have roaches in my apartment. If you see a cockroach you should report it. They fix everything you just have to ask. Everything is neat and clean. Come on people. I like management and the view is nice.

My friends and I stayed at the Quality Hill Towers for more than a year. We were in the renovated building first. We were very excited that everything would be great there because of the renovation. The second when we wanted to shower, the tub was clocked. We reached to the office multiple times to fix it. It took them a month to send someone. Second problem: the heaters were making these loud “dang, danggg, dangggggggg” noises all night long. During the day it was tolerable with playing music. The office didn’t care about it. They said we had to record about an hour long audio, although we had shorter videos about the noise. No one took care or it and we had to deal with it. For a year there , we were going to work with heavy headaches and mostly looked like we’d hangovers because of lack of sleep. Long story short, we decided to move to the older part of it, which is the one on the 817 Jefferson St. We came in and checked the apt, and reported everything to the office to be fixed. The carpets were dirty, cabinets were broken, so many wholes in the walls, discolored bathroom, although we were told the apt would be ready by the time we move in. The only things office took care of were coloring the bathroom and renewing the carpets. The oven and while gas is so old and dirty. The first morning when we wanted to make breakfast, WOW!!! In the kitchen, there were cockroaches in every single corner, cabinets, sing, counter and on the fridge door. We were so disappointed and so shocked. Besides so many other issues, the cockroaches became a huge issue for us. We can’t leave anything out, not even our dishes. They are everywhere in the apt. Every time we talk to the office or submit a maintenance request, they send someone with bag spray. Well, we use so many of those every week. No result. I wonder why theses old Apts should be given to rents in the first place. Yes, they are cheaper, but they don’t even worth $100/month. All you think is a cockroach getting in your nose or ear while you’re asleep. They climb on your bed, forehead and pillows. They are so scary and super fast. God forbid if you forget eatable things out, you’ll see tons of them partying. The only reason we stayed here is being close to our work, but we regret it every day. We might not be able to wait for our lease to be over. I can write pages about the issues and the office not being responsible.

I've lived here over a year and have mostly enjoyed it. It's very affordable for me and allows me to be close to work without needing a car. There is a massive roach problem but if you clean your apartment regularly and don't keep out food and buy roach killer it helps immensely. Roaches don't really gross me out that much though. They are only in the kitchen. I've had two apartments at this place. I got my deposit back for the first apartment and had a discounted deposit for my transfer. They made my transfer easy and stress free. I like the park nearby and the pool. Fitness center is decent and new. Maintenance always comes timely and they fix the problems I've had. They do frequent pest control, but the building is so old there's only so much they can do. It's not realistic to expect them to completely get rid of the roaches anytime soon. They also allow pitbulls which is nice because so many places won't allow them. Sometimes the manager can be rude and can seem a little shady at times but overall she is nice and is just doing her job. This place is good for the money. You can save some rent money until you can afford something better.
