I'm not sure if we were unlucky or something else but we did not enjoy the food or the service. The place was packed but the food is very sub-par. Their online menu does not reflect what the actually have, so that disappointed my spouse. We ordered confit rabbit and Bolognese ravioli and a side of asparagus. We ordered bread as a starter. The waitress brought only the appetizer and my rabbit Bolognese, and asked us if she forgot something. We were confused so we mentioned we haven't received the asparagus yet. Then we realized she hasn'tshe didn't account for the ravioli. We told her and she came back quickly with some ravioli. She said she grabbed someone else's but we could tell it was just forgot because it was barley warm. She then blamed a recent cyber security attack on their ordering system. The food was all bland luke warm. I don't complain much but the food was just not great. The waitress ran my spouse's card and said it was declined. There is plenty of money to cover this now overvalued meal. They have a couple places to eat on the compound and I can't attest to their food. Unfortunately I can't recommend eating here. McMenamins has really gone down hill since I started eating there 20 years ago.

I love McMenamins, any of them! I've been to most of them in Oregon & three in Washington. They each have their own quirky uniqueness. I've stayed at Edgefield, attended concerts & other events and eaten in every venue they offer over time. Please note that each location has it's own menu. Also know that service is on the slow side so plan accordingly. (It's the McMenamins way) The good thing is it forces you to slow down, enjoy a glass of wine and the others in your booth or table. They're clean, organized & remember to your mask when not eating! Most of all, enjoy!!

I visited Edgefield for the Crackedpots Reuse Art Show. It was fun! And on this hot day it was great that the booths were mostly underneath some beautiful trees :) There were a lot of different and unique items. The atmosphere was relaxed and the people were friendly!

What a fun place to stay and explore! The events are hit and miss but the entire property is amazing. Stayed here this weekend for the Syrah celebration and everything was well planned and organized. The dinner was great but keep in mind it’s prefix and they don’t offer alternative options. I was expecting the grand tasting to be overly crowded but it was very spacious and there were little to no lines. I would do this event again! Went here for a Halloween event and the bar was completely understaffed it took 30-40 minutes to wait in line for a drink. The band was also outdated and refused to make requests. There are so many activities to try on the priory and a variety of food and drink options. In addition the soaking pool is amazing! You won’t go wrong booking a night here.

Yes. I had my 8 and 11 year old there.
You need to contact them directly but my experience is that it's extremely difficult to buy them.
