Dr. Kaufman did cataract surgery on both of my extremely nearsighted eyes, and the results are amazing! He's a great ophthalmologist, and I am so happy.

6 calls unanswered 3 voice-mail left unreturned. I had to take time off work to go in just to talk to someone then had to wait 1.5 hours to get help. The signs say everyone has to check in at front desk but after waiting in line they told I had to go to the other desk. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The competence is severely lacking.

Most unprofessional office I've ever been to. From mixing me up with another patient, HIPAA violations, leaving the exam room multiple times for long periods of time with their computer unsecure exposing all of their clients information, acting like I was there for a routine exam when I was there for a medical eye exam due to extensive eye pain/loss of vision and was referred there, no treatment and still left in pain, Dr's assistant telling me my how I feel rather than listen, left with diolate eyes with no after care instructions (drove home in a blur) nor how to alleviate the pain, took 30 days to get someone to call me back with exam results which initiated by the doctor as a text (so weird, I didn't authorize that type of contact) to then have him call and sound confused and unsure who I was (which patient) and started telling me things ...I had to stop him and verify his statements of which he paused and then said "oh let me get your chart, your name?" 😳 I am nearing 50 years old and have seen many eye professionals since I was 12. Of all, I regret going to this office. A padded $500 bill for zero help and zero outcome.

There is absolutely no excuse Dr. Cattle Prod, to treat a new Pt. with such disrespect. I waited for YOU. I paid YOUR establishment for my initial exam. What did I get? A 5 minute examination, which included many questions from me, (that you Dr., really did not want, or feel you had the time to answer.) Your attitude? In and out, bigger, more important things to do. I did not simply twitch my nose and suddenly appear in your chair. It took effort and money to assure a safe visit since I was in pain and photophobic! Sincerely, the most helpful part of my visit was when a gal behind the desk said “watch your step!” As I walked out the door. It is my decision to never pay for insignificance, ever again! All follow up visits were canceled. My Optometrist successfully treated my precious gift of sight, both of them, with enthusiastic professionalism! In my opinion, it’s a roll of the dice if you are a first time person with painful symptoms, to choose this Ophthalmology Clinic.
