My wife bought some earrings there for $45 to wear daily. She wore them 3-4 times and the setting fell out. Haven't had them a month. Took them back to store and since we didn't get their insurance it was tough luck. I guess we'll shop at Walmart because that's where I'd expect the jewelry to be that cheap. Going to cancel our credit card too.

Their clothing selection is decent if you like St. John’s bay, Mutual weave, Levi, etc. the one star rating is due to their shady, illegal practices of selling overpriced jewelry. In 2019, I purchased what was described as an 18k gold crucifix mens necklace, mainly for investing purposes. The receipt clearly stated the normal retail value at $624.99. I took the necklace into a reputable gold buyer this past weekend and was told it is not actually 18k it is only plated in gold and has a wholesale value of about five dollars. If you buy jewelry here, keep the receipt and get it appraised immediately. I did keep the receipt but because I was too naive and trusting I didn’t get it appraised until now and I can’t do anything about it.

I have never been treated so badly because I am Hispanic. Also ever been more disappointed in the selection because of most of it clearance and coupons didn’t work on it. The clearance cost more money then when it is on sale with a coupon. They are really getting their name Penney’s
