This place has the most amazing grounds! We had a girls weekend here recently and we really enjoyed strolling the grounds in the early morning wearing our robes, which are provided for guests, and sipping our coffee. Hanging out in the soaking pool for a morning or nighttime cocktail is definitely a must, the temperature of the salt water and the atmosphere are equally amazing. The rooms are a bit dated and we found out in the middle of our stay that the room we booked, 215, is allegedly haunted. That was a fun surprise. Nothing strange happened but if you're sensitive to that kind of thing, be aware. The par 3 golf course was a highlight of our trip as well. Can't wait to return!

We have attended for many years.. You just need to enjoy the eclectic celebrations. Try the a great cigar in the little red shed hideaway; with an Edgefield whiskey Take a walk around the grounds in the early morning.. Bloody Mary's at the black rabbit bar Food is always a treat... Delicious... Staff look after the facility. Go and enjoy. Now

So much to do and so much fun! It was really nice walking around while waiting on our table to be ready. You are able to stop at the different bars for drinks, there’s music, and just an overall great atmosphere. The garden was beautiful to walk around and I cannot wait to go back to explore more. The food was delicious, drinks were tasty, and the service was great!

There is a lot to love about this place. The beers, the winery, the decently prized food and it’s proximity to some beautiful waterfalls. Nevertheless, there were somethings that rubbed me the wrong way. First, know that unless you specifically request it, the restrooms are shared. While I can understand the appeal for some, I needed this to be more explicit prior to our booking. We ended up getting a room with our own toilet and shower for an additional $50 a night (we stayed three nights). Second, the restaurants on sight offer mostly fried food. I left that place full but feeling like I needed to do a detox for my arteries sake. Just know what you are getting into before deciding to go with this place.

You can only use the soaking pool if u get spa services or stay at the hotel
The old building could not handle it electrically. The last two summers I stayed there and roasted while the power constantly went out just from folks plugging in the fans in the rooms. Historic buildings sure do know how to hold in the heat too! For next year I've booked in May and September and hope I'll avoid a heat wave that way.
Best to call. The website only shows pending future shows.
Make your reservations early if they're not already filled up
I believe so!!!
I always confirm events before going out traveling to them. With pandemic issues, weather, or other unforseen events, call the venue or go to the website. Advocate for your own interests. 👍
I'd recommend contacting them directly to ask. This forum is not necessarily monitored by the business owners or management.
The soaking pool is reserved for guests with overnight hotel reservations or spa appointments only.

The key card you get gives you access to the women's lounge and the men's lavatory. They have lockable stalls and in many cases a fully lockable bathroom/shower/sink. The men's room varies per floor with the showers from traditional dorm style to fully lockable rooms with shower/toilet/sink. Call the front desk to get additional details about the top floor setup.
I’d call to check

They have many fire pits spread across the property. But beware, guests are not allowed to put wood on the fires, doing so and getting caught will get you cut off drinking for the night. And if you are not an overnight guest at the hotel, they might just kick you off the property.
There are no televisions or telephones in the rooms, although WiFi is complimentary.
Generally, they allow. However, it is the performers call on what they will allow for camera use.
The following list of food items are available inside the venue. Cash and credit cards are both accepted. There is an ATM inside the venue for your convenience. Items and prices are subject to change. *Please note: Outside food and beverages (other than sealed or empty water bottles – no glass) are not allowed in the venue – this includes alcohol and/or food and beverages purchased from the bars and restaurants on the Edgefield property.
There are a lot of trees, so depending on the time of day there can be a lot of shade. The trees are on the south side of the lawn so they don't interfere with the concerts. The toilets and vendors are all set up in the trees. There is also a lot of parking in fields. There was more than was needed for the sold out Halsey concert (the was still a bit of space to fill).
Ya but in the summer it is free all ages outdoors&it has over 7 different bars &1 hotel
Yes, some of the King rooms have a private bathroom. They are listed on the reservations page and they do cost a little more.
Good question! I've heard some stories but not from any of the staff. As rich as the history is here I wouldn't put it past any spirits to be hanging around; if that's what your looking for. But on a personal note I didn't experience any paranormal activities. Still a must see just for the hospitality!
