On Sunday morning I went looking for a car and was actually across the street at Toyota. It was before 10:00 a.m. so it wasn't open yet. My mom, husband, and I decided to go to Honda and see their cars. When we got off the car we saw some employees arriving. It was before 10:00 a.m. and Hazel from sales came out to offer some assistance (even though it was not opening time yet). I was having second thoughts about buying a car from a dealership. But Hazel Prado (Sales Consultant) and Michelle Padilla (Sales Manager) made the whole car buying process super easy, answering our questions and trying to help us overall. They were VERY helpful and knowledgeable in every way. So on Sunday instead of leaving Toyota dealer with a car I left Honda of Buena Park in a brand new 2022 Honda Civic Sport. Hazel and Michelle are a great asset to Buena Park Honda dealership.

Bought a car last July 2021. Had it refinance October of same year. I’ve been following up my gap refund eversince. Called the gap company and was told that a cancellation was never applied and was told to just do it myself. Since the cancellation was done late, a refund cannot be given for October. Called the gap company this morning April 28, 2022. I was told that they send the refund to Honda last April 2nd. Called Honda Buena Park same day. Details was given. I was told that they will call back after researching my case. Nobody called back after several hours. Called back instead. I was told that they will call me back after they hear back from their partner business office. So do we really need to wait 6months and follow up several times for a gap refund?

When I initially arrived I had a long wait time of about 20-30 minutes to be seen by any customer service representative. I was supposed to meet with Martin but when I arrived he was with another customer. I purchased a car from CJ and he was helpful and personable. The woman in finance was knowledgeable and worked efficiently, but kept trying to urge me to buy a car warranty which was annoying. Although I purchased a new car, I was hoping my car would be a bit cleaner, to leave with the new car feeling but- it was pretty dusty inside and vacuumed poorly. Overall, it was a pretty average experience and I did not experience “helpful Honda people”. I did have a better experience when I was browsing at the other Honda dealership in Westminster. I will be sure to go to that location for my next vehicle.
