I’ve been going to High end optical and always said that I’ll never shop at Costco Vision Center. Well, I was wrong! Costco has great selection and great deals, and the customer service is always great, a special thank you to Meegan at the Costco Vision center on 138th street. Shes the best, honest, great with product knowledge and always greats me with a warm smile. I will be coming back amd telling my friends and family about my great experiences. They also have Tom Ford glasses that fit my wide face! This never happens! Thank you Costco 138th vision center!

Costco harms its stellar reputation by providing this clinic in house. If you call to schedule an appointment it always goes to voicemail. Voicemail is not returned. I went in during office hours and no one was there. When they did come back, the next appointment was nearly a month out. Front desk person was moderately welcoming, but her first comment was “we don’t talk insurance.” (I knew that and didn’t ask) I get it. Covid. But Covid doesn’t prevent you from answering the phone, or providing great service. You’ll see I’m not alone in this experience.

I was seen by Steven Porter OD. Everyone was professional and personable. There were no hicups and the bill was less than I was expecting. I came here because they had an opening the day after I called. I'll go here in the future because of the good experience. Also, I was a little worried coming in here because of the low rating of the Vision Center (thus why I'm writing this review). However, the Optometrist's office and glasses counter are two different departments / businesses. I only saw the optometrist and had a great experience.

I’ve had several bad dealings with “Pauline “ at this Costco. I stopped coming to this Costco for almost 2yrs because of this employee. Over adjusted my glasses and tried to fix her error by bending the ear loops. Today she refused my frames for lenses stating the eye loop was bent. Neither my wife nor eye could see what she was describing. I asked to have them sent to the lab for their opinion and offered to pay for it. At that point she became rude and hostile. Telling me how it is. I took my frames elsewhere and they were accepted. There was a slight twist in the bridge and zero problems with the eye loop. If you do use this optical center I highly suggest being helped by a completely different associate that her.

You 100% need an appointment. They will Not accept walk-ins even though the website states they do. Twice I've been there with 2-4 weeks wait time for an appointment.
