I've been a member since the early 90's. Great club. Clean, safe, and well maintained.

Not surprised to find that the hunters safety class on 9/21/2021 was a room full of 20-30 unmasked individuals.

I don't know how it is now but awhile back my friends and I went regularly. The range is is good. Some of the rules like single loading semi automatic seemed a bit ridiculous. Also got a lot of dirty looks if you select a lane without a barrel. Generally a grumpy older crowd. It's alright for a local range but Albany has a much better more relaxed yet still safe range. I'd spend my membership money there.

Questions & Answers

Are there dates/times when a prospective member can tour the facility to determine if it will be a good fit?

Four Corners Rod & Gun Club | Aug 18, 2021

Please use the contact form on the website to request a tour. There are no specific times but we can usually work with individuals.

I read the range rules online and just want to verify that one of them is accurate. Do they actually limit loading rifles to five rounds and pistols to ten rounds? Why force customers to reload that much? Am I missing something?

Clint Fella | Aug 19, 2019

Yes, those are the current range rules. Having shot at numerous ranges over the years this is not an uncommon rule. I understand that some ranges do not have any limits. I have seen semi-auto firearms malfunction and dump the entire magazine before. This has actually killed people (I personally know of one myself). Thank you for your input an interest in the club.

Hunter Safety Classes will begin in March this year (2021) and continue through the summer. Check the website in late January for details. Sign ups are though ODFW and we will place a link. The Col. Allison program is open to youth from 12 - 20 years of age and meets on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Please see the Education Foundation page on the website for details. Thank you for the question.

Can you bring your own firearm

Judah Koptis | Aug 18, 2021
Four Corners Rod & Gun Club | Aug 18, 2021

Thank you for the question. Yes, actually you will need to as we do not rent firearms. Please be aware that we are a membership based (private) club so there is no access for the public for shooting. We are as of this time open to new members. Please see our website for more information about membership.

Is the outdoor range open to the public at all?

Jessica Thomas (Twin Momma) | Aug 18, 2020
Four Corners Rod & Gun Club | Aug 18, 2021

The range is an annual, membership based facility. We do have a hunter's sight in service in September which is open to the public. When not in COVID restrictions, many of our shooting events are open to the public. Please check the website for the current conditions and restrictions. Thank you for your question and interest in the club.

Is there youth activities? My son is 15.

Rondeeda Magby | Aug 18, 2020
Four Corners Rod & Gun Club | Aug 18, 2021

Thank you for your question. We have a youth smallbore rifle program that meets on Wednesday evenings and Saturday morning. Please check out the website for additional detail. There is contact information for the person who runs the program on the website as well. Youth shooters, as long as they are safe with a firearm, are welcome to shoot in the "adult" shoots as well. Currently membership is required for most of these other events due to COVID (but not for the main youth rifle shooting program). Thank you for your interest in the club and activities.

Do you guys have any trap/skeet shooting area?

Zak Bensing | Aug 19, 2019
Four Corners Rod & Gun Club | Aug 18, 2021

Sorry, no formal trap or skeet shooting at the facility. We do have two informal clays shoots over the summer each month. I would recommend Mid-Valley Clays in Gervais (trap, skeet and sporting clays) or Albany Gun Club (not APRC) but the trap only range in Albany (nothing against ARPC, but they are private like us and have limited trap only times). Thank you for the question.

Is the range open to the public?

Oscar Rosas | Aug 19, 2018
