Splendid trip was what my family and I needed. The beautiful sea creatures, shows, and viewing the exhibition was such an extreme pleasure to have encounter in this amazing place called Seaworld. I want to thank the staff members because most of the park was clean, and the restrooms were always stocked up. The food was okay, a little bit salty in the choice selection we had. Other than that, we got to view fireworks by the end of the night. It was a pretty cool experience for our first time there.

The park is a very nice place to spend quality time with family, they have a lot of shows, and attractions. A lot of information about sea animals, their habitats and their rescue program it's amazing. I put 4 stars because I would love they clean their restrooms more often they were super dirty.

Lots of fun. The new roller coaster is amazing dropping your face down 14 stories. Tons of rides to go on. One can spend all day going from ride to ride. There are wonderful shows also. If you are a veteran they have wonderful deals to let you get in for free with other dependence. Another tip is that if you are disabled go to customer service and they can give you a pass that will allow you to advance to the front of the ride lines with those accompanying you.

Great experience. I love that they have changed their vibe and experience to buy more about education and rehabilitation of the animals. The additional rides are a good addition but if they add to many more it will be more of an amusement park and not a aquarium.

Don't forget, no glad bottles near the fire pits, and don't use palettes unless you take out all of the nails.
I Shirley wagar was not asking a questions but trying to help answer one. Used to work out at mission bay for 3 years and knew a lot of park workers. If you look at the large gazebos they have all the rules and regulations and tell you of the permits for large groups etc....
Fire pits are actually first come first served at Mission Bay as reservatione are not enforced typically from what I've experienced going there the past two years. The Gazebos may require permits for ten or more people per event.
First come first serve.
First come, first serve. Go early on weekends and holidays.
Holiday weekends are the busiest, so early, pens at 4am, and you can hold it for the whole day. Hours it is closed 10pm - 4am.
Yes, but I would suggest bringing your own grill to do so. A propane grill would be ideal but if you're going to use briquettes, you'll have to find one of those cement hot coal disposal containers.
There's the Bayside of Bahia hotel that has shade and parking
Always check prices online and they do offer triple a discounts
Yes indeed fire pits
Yes
The parking lots are closed from 2am-4am or something like that. Signs are posted and police do check up on vehicles.
Yes and there are limitations. Start by checking out this link https://www.sandiego.gov/park-and-recreation/parks/regional/missionbay/facilities
Fishing off a public pier is free but try the sand anywhere if you have a ca fishing license but only eat the fish from the bay once monthly because of the mercury
Yes, dogs are allowed, but at certain times during summer and winter.
Yes you can do that
Yes.. but I think you have to return them to the water... Not sure...
I bought through Groupon...they had amazing prices! Most enjoyable and relaxing!
There is a specific place for dogs in mission bay, but if you bring the dog without a strap it is tiket.
If dogs are allowed
The SD lifeguards and the SDPD as well as the coast guard all patrol the bay and marinas. But the marinas are privately owned and operated.
Not sure. I had a birthday party in February. About 20 people attended and i didn't get a permit. Actually I didnt even think about it. Everyone just showed up, potluck type and a grill. We had a great time. The kids had fun and we put logs in the pit and really enjoyed ourselves
Yes there are fire pits. Not certain of the hours of usage
The largest dog park in San Diego is on Fiesta Island seven days a week no hours restriction there's no lease requirements on the island
Yes , if you want to fly small craft then visit South Shores park near East Mission Bay Drive . Just drive West from hwy 5 for about 3/4 mile like you're headed to Sea World and the South Shores park with small aircraft will be on north side of road , just look for boat ramp and air field on right side as you head West from 5
Yes you have to get there pretty early is a busy area
All parking lots close at 2am or earlier but people do park overnight in some lots. Just be aware that you can be ticketed.
